I just changed employers recently as well. I went from a 127 km one way trip to a 27km one way trip. The difference is amazing. Just wait until you do the new 'commute' a couple of times, you'll wonder how you managed the old one for so long!!!

My wife just told me the same thing this morning as we were pulling out of the driveway!!! I stand corrected!! lol

For the same reason that Ontario has Family day off and no other province does....because its only a provincial holiday, not federal/national!

I just bought a new atv a couple of months ago. I called a few insurance companies for a quote and all of them said that their policies would not cover any claims for on ice activities. They said that they would pay out if there was any liability issue, however, they would then take me to court to recover the costs. So aside from the age issue of your atv, being on the ice may be another issue for your insurance company.

Anyone have any experience with bulk meat orders
Pinch replied to Big Cliff's topic in General Discussion
I did a meat order from this place http://www.blackangusmeat.com/index.php a couple of months ago and the meat is excellent. It cost $700 and filled my entire full sized stand up freezer with steaks, roasts, chickens. ground beef, stir fry beef.....and on and on. You get whatever cuts that you want, so you arent left with something you wont use. Once I called them up and went to collect it, they threw in an extra 60lbs of goods for free. Anything from the store that I wanted! I though that their service and the quality of food was excellent. Everything was double wrapped to save from freezer burn. Pinch -
No it not just you at all....I have 4 kids that go to 3 different schools. Every day its something different. Most of the time its not even money for anything specific. Just 'school fund raising!' My oldest daughter was told today that she needed to pay $60 for her high school gym class!!! I thought thats what our property taxes were for! Unless its remembrance day, or scholastic books for my kids. Sorry.....I need my money for my ever growing family!!

I disagree, the only reply that we have from the MNR states that in the hole it goes. The rest of the responses are second hand information. Until we hear anything to the contrary from the MNR then the first and only response from them is right and crystal clear. As for the portable ice hut licensing, yes that is a complete mess with contradictory information, however, thats not the case with the guts issue, so its irrelevant. IMHO

I thought that the MNR reply was pretty clear. Back down the hole it is!

Ive had an xm unit for about two years now and love it. I think your choice will come down to what sports you prefer to listen to. Xm has nhl and mlb, and I think sirius has nfl and nascar!

It says right at the bottom of the page, "Prices shown are in U.S. funds." No small print there. All the text is in the same size!

The operators are required to have a helmet as are all the passengers in whatever is being towed. It falls under the Off Road Vehicles act. As for liability, the owner/operator is liable if they have been paid. If its just you pulling some friends, then they assume the risk willingly and they are responsible for anything that happens to them.

The shirt may have come from a bait shop of the same name in Cocoa Beach Florida. The store sign was identical to it and has other merchandise in the store, ie bait buckets, stickers etc. I can probably find the address and phone number of the store if you wanna give them a call.

Personally I think the menu system is fine, its easy to navigate through and pick what you want. So no, there are no concerns there, for me at least.

Hey 007, I just got back from Florida after spending almost three weeks there. I took along my new Olympus 770SW. I will attach a few underwater pics for you to look at. Overall I loved the camera, the toughness and durability were tested out straight away when our oldest son dropped it on the concrete at a rest stop. Despite a nice scratch the camera worked flawlessly. I was very impressed with the battery life as well, it lasted for days taking hundreds of pictures and quite a few videos. The camera spent most of its time in the hands of our 5 year old under water and didn't leak or condense at all. I was disappointed in a couple of things, the first was that although its a point and shoot digital camera for some indoor shots you needed change the shooting settings otherwise some of the pictures come out orange. This is more of an 'operator error' thing really because as usual I didn't read the instructions fully. The second was the glass covering the LCD screen in the back is raised up a fraction above the rear of the camera. There are a couple of raised bumps on the metal casing, which i assumed were there to protect the glass, but they are lower than the glass. The end result is that if you put the camera screen side down on concrete or a hard rough surface the screen can become scratched. These really are very minor problems in my eyes. As I said I love the camera, and it has taken alot of abuse over the past month including prolonged exposure to salt water, with only a few scratches to show for it. Here are a few of the pictures, feel free to pm me if you want any more info! Pinch

Gotta agree with Verno, the caravan has to be close to the number 1 stolen vehicle in Ontario!
