Terry How is it that I seem to be racist against white people??? Perhaps you'd like to go back and re-read my post. I never said that all canadians are white and I never said that Holdfast was racist. What I said was "What if we changed 'canadians' to 'white people'... As in IF Holdfast HAD said that would his comments still have been ok with everyone. I was using it as an example, ie Do you not think that some people might be offended had he stated that he prefered to live next to white/black/purple/pink/whatever people. Thats all. Nothing more nothing less.

Where do you live? Here is a link for the toronto municipal code that mentions the by-laws for dogs, including allowing them to roam at large and also the removal of excriment. Toronto Municipal Code The police can enforce the By-laws but generally wont. Best bet is to call the city by law enforcement office. Keep all evidence you can, ie video, pictures, written diary, (not bags of poo ) Make yourself a nuisance to the by-law guy or gal, they will try to sort out the problem just to get you out of their hair!

I bought a rapala one a couple of months ago for $20 and it didnt work out that well for the rod that I was using. The rod was too thick for the clip. Anyways I only used it the once and if your interested in buying it its yours! Shoot me a pm.

Sorry HoldFast, why is it that I need to relax? You made your comment about prefering to have Canadians live near you. I simply replied that your comment appeared to exclude almost all of my family and invited you to comment. Which i guess you have done by telling me to relax. What if we changed 'canadians' to 'white people'. Would what you said still be ok? Would you still tell someone to relax and that they are being too sensitive?

Ok, Im back after a short trip to the BOQ. Unfortunately only one little perch was caught between three of us!! I took along my 5 year old son, so the four hours or so on the ice was enough for him. I brought along my new wind break which was built out of 3 wooden broom handles, a 9 x 12 tarp, 8 cable ties, and a half roll of duct tape. I used a cordless drill with a 1" spade bit and drilled three 4 inch or so holes. The set up worked really well, if i were to change anything on it it would have to be the height. It was about 2 to 3 inches to short. Im 6'4 so when I sit on the chair my head is an inch or so over the top and catches the wind. Other than that it worked great. To transport it I just roll it up and bungee it onto the sled with everything else. And here are the pics.....

I built me Clampet inspired wind break yesterday afternoon. I plan on testing it out in belleville this afternoon, I'll take some pics and let you all know how it worked out! Dave

Thats why you buy the US XM gift certificates. (you buy them from seperate retailers, kinda like the BPS gift certificates that you can now get at petro can and the like) You pay with them and get around the US credit card address problem.

Yes you can buy them in the states and bring them here to use. The only difference is that the units here have an extra two numbers/letters in the serial number. Other than that there is no difference. I bought my XM unit off of ebay.ca for $50 instead of $300 or so retail here. If your after a deal you may find one there. As for the us subscription. There is a website that you can go to and buy US XM gift certificates, you can then use them to activate on the US airwaves. (if you want the site I can look it up for you) Apparently you can just make up any address you like and give it to them, they don’t check and they don’t mail anything out. The most popular address they get is 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington, which is the address of the White House! I have the Canadian sub, and I do find that I miss/want to listen to all the other stations advertised that we can’t get here. Dave
