A buddy of mine had some animals done at Pine Ridge Taxidermy on Cty rd 45 north of Cobourg south of Alderville. He mentioned that they were pretty good.

Well after a fairly busy summer so far, I finally managed to get out fishing with my son. It was a pretty eventful trip all round. It started out by me forgetting to make sure that I put the plug in the boat before I launched!! Oops I parked the van and trailer about 500 meters away and when I returned most of the back end was full of water!! Back I go to get the van! I get the boat hooked onto the trailer, get back into the van and put it in drive. The van rolls about a foot or so back because of the grade and the current pushes the boat sideways. Unfortunately I didn't notice this and when I pull forward the boat falls sideways off the trailer!! Back out I go, push the boat in the water, then hook up the boat again. This time it goes ok and there isnt really any damage to the boat. Drain the boat, back out we go!!! Luckily after a couple of minutes the storm cloud brewing in my head disappears and all is fine. My little shadow managed to catch a few rock bass and a perch, and I managed to catch a few bass. We call it a day after a few hours and just as we get the boat on the trailer and climb into the van the heavens above open up. Perfect timing!!

Not true. under the Canada shipping act they can 'stop or board any craft at any reasonable time.' So telling them no is just going to annoy them and ensure that you get a ticket for every offence they suspect you have committed. sec 196 of the Canada Shipping Act 2001 Powers (4) Enforcement officers acting under subsection (2) and inspectors acting under subsection (3) may (a) stop or board the craft at any reasonable time; ( direct any person to put into operation or cease operating any machinery or equipment on the craft; © direct that the craft not be moved until the inspection is completed; (d) direct any person to move the craft to a safe place if the officer or inspector has reasonable grounds to believe that it does not meet the requirements of this Part or the regulations made under this Part or exposes any person to serious danger, and direct that it not be operated until it meets those requirements or no longer exposes any person to serious danger; and (e) direct any person to move the craft to a safe place if the officer or inspector has reasonable grounds to believe that the operator does not meet the requirements of the regulations made under this Part, and direct that the operator not operate it until the operator meets those requirements. Duty to assist (5) The owner or person in charge of a pleasure craft and every person on board shall (a) give an officer or inspector all reasonable assistance to enable them to carry out an inspection and exercise any power conferred by this section; and ( produce to an officer or inspector any document, or provide them with any information, that the officer or inspector may reasonably require, for the administration of this Part or Part 5 (Navigation Services) or the regulations made under either of those Parts.

There's a public launch right in the town of Campbellford which is right on the Trent above the lock. Theres another at Ferris Provincial Park which is below the lock. and a third further south of C'ford just off percy boom rd, this one is also below the lock.
-
I think that's the Trenton Dam your thinking of.

Now why would anyone think that a boat thats for sale in London, located in Florida, with a Wisconsin registration be a scam??! lol

Here is a link to a small castle. I went with the wife and kids a few years ago. You can go on a tour throughout the entire castle. It may be a bit out of your way thought. There are a bunch of good museums in Glasgow that are worth a visit if thats what your into. Heres a link for those. And no trip to Scotland would be complete without stopping in at Ibrox or the Rangers Shop!!! Pinch

Ive bought a couple knives from the states on ebay without any problems at all.

Wouldn't the waterline be above your floor? You may need to fill it up higher than the floor level. Or maybe where you stand/sit in the boat creates a void in a certain area and lets water in?? I assume that you weren't in the boat when you filled it.

I can see your point, but aren't Rapala one of the, if not THE biggest name in lures?

Sorry to hijack this, but I have to agree. I have had a few problems with my Bell high speed lately and have been dealing with the tech support in India for a few days now. They have been so polite and so helpful its unreal. Far better than a lot of the help lines here in Canada.

Pinch replied to CLofchik's topic in General Discussion
Wow the criminals must be shaking in their boots! Now they just face a possible jail sentence, soon they may face a possible jail sentence AND a $100 by-law ticket. Man I can see them all laying down their guns now!!! -

I am trying to figure out a wiring problem but find I need a little help. Ill try and give as much information as I can here. It is a typical bathroom with one GFI plug, one fan controlled by a switch and one light controlled by a dimmer switch. There is a 12/3 wire from the dimmer switch (which controls the light) to the light. Then a 12/2 wire that runs from the light to the fan. The fan switch is pigtailed to the dimmer switch providing the power to the fan. What I need to do is change the single light to two separate lights being controlled by the single dimmer light switch. Does the 12/3 wire go to the first light, then the 12/2 wire to the second light, then the 12/2 on to the fan? Or do I need 12/3 to the first then 12/3 to the second, then 12/2 to the fan? Or am I completely out to lunch?!?! Any help would be great. Thanks

No it was legally caught. You weren't, (I assume) over the limit at the time. It may be OOS now, but it wasn't at the time. Theres a difference between OOS and over the limit.

I dont know what type of boat you have, or if this would work, but could you fill the inside of the boat with water and then watch to see where the water comes out?

No I don't think that the publicity did do it, I heard an interview with the employee and she said that she was offered a job last night at 6pm. This story didn't really break until this morning.
