  1. Heres a small video to get all you hard water types excited. http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-34...8&q=fishing
  2. I agree with Gerritt and the others. There is far more money to be made from donations than from a cure. Unfortunately Cancer is too much of a high profile money maker!
  3. I was at the Wal-Mart in Cobourg yesterday and they had piles of them on display. I didn't really take notice which colours they had, but there was a lot of different ones. Cobourg may be a shorter drive for you than BPS.
  4. Great pictures there. What kind camera did you use?
  5. I was just flipping through the latest issue of Ontario Out of Doors and in the classifieds there is an ad for Bass Pro Shops at Vaughan Mills for full and part time staff. You can apply online in the careers section at basspro.com or go into the store itself.
  6. Probably the best tasting fish in the lake, and you just let it go for no reason what so ever, I mean come on, whats a little external growth between friends!!!!
  7. I caught this guy in Bon Echo Prov Park in the summer. I think i posted it on the old site to find out what the marks were. Main consensus was it was hit by a prop. 10. All Police Cars have a removable back seat that functions as a floatation device. Two officers did in fact 'take the plunge' in an attempt to rescue one of the children. One officer went under three or four times searching the 20' deep water for the child until others arrived to help.
  11. Well the thing is I think it sorta does. I bought one from hobie and it has these pedals that you use as well as paddling. The pedals are connected to a set of fins that push you through the water!!! Oh well, if Im not heard from after July then I looked a bit to tasty for the sharks!!
  12. I dont think that there will me much of a chance to claim through his insurance. We had some cracks in our foundation that was caused because the builder didnt put any black water proofing on the exterior walls. This then caused water to seep into the basement and the entire house to shift. Anyways to cut a long story short we werent covered. Our policy, which overall is very good, wouldnt cover defects in workmanship or acts of god/nature. ie flooding.
  13. I just recently purchased a kayak and am waiting to collect it at the end of the month. In the mean time I've been reading everything I can about fishing from them. I had been getting really excited about it, and since the family and I are going to Florida for the month of July next year I thought that I'd take it with me and go a couple miles out into the Atlantic to catch a few fish. Then I saw THAT picture and now I'm not so sure!!! Really, how unlucky would I have to be for that to happen to me..... lol
  14. There's a murray snowblower for $997 at home depot, its 8 hp and 27" path. Ive had a murray lawn tractor for about three years and never had a problem with it. Canadian Tire also do a YardWorks one for a similar price. I have a small Yardworks snowblower that I have used for two seasons now to clear away the pond for the kids to skate on. It also works great and I havent had any problems with it. Although I like the more expensive ones, like Toro or JD, the murray and yardworks stuff works great. Just my two pennith worth.
  15. Not too sure what type of battery you planed on using, but here is a link that shows types of batteries that you can use with basic parts from a Radio Shack. The site is mainly about kayaks and rigging them but I think that the fish finder link will show you how to get power to the ff. Hope this helps. PS Here is a second link that deals strictly with the batteries.

  19. Hi all, I am going to find myself in Toronto next week with a bit of spare time throughout the week and am looking to do a bit of fishing. Can anybody give me any idea's as to where is a descent river to fish for steelhead? Notice I said river and not 'your secret fishing hole." A general area/body of water would be nice. Thanks
  20. I couldn't agree more Rick. I haven't had a day off since Mid August when it hasn't been raining!! I'm pretty much surrounded by trees, and my 3 acres are covered with leaves!!! Oh well i guess I'll just have to get them in the Summer.
  21. Thanks for the info.
