  2. Art and I will be Lakair bound tomorrow morning.Going to overnight in Buffalo and get to Lakair Monday afternoon.Gonna try to meet up with GCD in Buffalo and drive up together.We will try to leave a few fish for the tourney.....looking forward to seeing everyone again!! Joe

  4. No worries,We were gonna go metric all thru grade school and then the big day came and we said...nope..thtas too hard so here we are a non metric island.I am equaly confused with miles and gallons. Joe
  5. Just a note.You can do Cornish game hens the same way.Just use a tomato paste can instead of a beer and the good news is it more beer for the chef!You got to try it sometime.. Joe

  8. Lots of oppertunities on the upper French.Casa Blanca by Dokis has some good waters to fish.Brian will show you some good spots there and work his butt of to get you into fish.Dont know what the going rate is now but was a great deal a few years back. Joe

I do a lot of work for property management companies and on occasion I have to work with agents that are selling rental or investment properties.Most are snkaes that are trying to get the deal done quickly without reguard for what is right for the customer.There are a very few who have built up a business thru referalls and word of mouth that do a good job.They are not the norm and most are old school,not the housewife turned agent during the big real estate boom.I'm glad you got out of the contract and found what you can live with but its a shame that you had to sell you place that you worked so hard on.Too bad your agent was a snake.I know there are some agents on the board here,might want to call one of them next time. The best part is that Kyle Bush is moving(or so the rumor is).I have no use for the boy but maybe losing a top notch ride in the cup will wake his scrawny butt up.I will say he can drive a car,just cant control his emotions wich makes him sorta useless to an owner or sponsors.As far as JR goes..he has mediocre driving skills at the cup level but has a great following and has a huge fan base and marketability,good move for Hendricks but JR will have to step it up a notch if he wants to stay in that ride.For the record I like JR as a personality and wish him all the best.   18. Finally a man who has slaved for his beer butt chicken.Been there done that..the would be the tip section of the post! Joe

I've been making these for more than a couple of years and with summer getting into full swing I thought I'd make some tonite.I like to inject myine with your favorite marinade,these are small 3.25 lb birds but I like to really fill them up in the breast and thighs. Next I take a tall boy beer and open up the lid a bit and pour out about 1/3 of the beer and reserve for later consuption by the chef.Take a couple tablespoons of minced garlic and put it in the beer can.careful ..it may bubble over! I then rub the chicken with olive oil and chicken rub.You can use store bought or any combination of salt,pepper,paprika,greek seasoning ect..slide the chicken over the can like this. Cover the grill with foil and cut a hole where the chicken can will go.You need a tall grill to do this.Indirect heat is key.. Put them on the grill at med high and cook untill the breast is about 17 or so.I always feel a bit guilty cooking these in front of the girls. These took about and hour at temps between 450 and 550.Dig in! I'm off to eat now!! Joe

  22. I melted my Minkota the same way.It wasn't the motor but the controls in th head unit.Take a peek in there and see whats doin'.May even get lucky and find just a burnt wire. Joe

  24. Nice fish Roy,I have caught a couple of good sized Walleyes on the large deep down Husky but never thought about trolling one with a bottom bouncer. Joe
