  1. You are just SMASHIN the walleye! Nice work from shore. This reminds me of the spring time on the Athabasca river.
  2. Nice hat. that's along the lines of "bonk and release" haha I didn't know you could find carp in such small creeks. I would have painted that as a trout creek but not a carp spot. Nice spot, nice pics, nice fish. Are carp typically in such small creeks...are they there only because of the high water?
  3. Nice catches! Dinner looks good. What's with the cleft lip on the last photo? Don't show green peace, they'll blame it on the oil sands.
  4. That makes my fruit loops look like crap.
  5. When you are watching hockey in the man den..... Go Coyotes Go!
  6. Incredible! haha makes me giddy just thinking about it.
  7. Lots of good perch reports coming out. Nice haul. The BOQ has got to be the best walleye fishery in south Ont. Big lake, big fish.
  8. You have made many people here jealous. Add me to that list. Beauty brown indeed
  9. I can't really help but that guy in the Chrysler sounds like a real jack-. That would have been scary seeing him flying down the road towards your family!!
  10. That's a big boy...what do you do with them? Eat em? Skin em? Wear them for Halloween?
  11. Looks like a nice calm day in the pics....also looks chili....gotta love fall. Good job adjusting your techniques. They were reticent to bite but you managed to lure them in.
  12. Are you making up the pool yourself or are you gonna use an online venue like nhl.com or cbc?
  13. There's nothing like a good feed of perch. Best fish and chips are made with perch...imo That first fish is a manatee of a perch...nice catch.
  14. That photo is brilliant! Good work finding those walleye with your buddy. Sounds like you were both very happy with the outcome.
  15. We were just down there this evening. I kept 6 and fed the seagulls a bunch of gobies. Nothing real big but we'll get one good meal for two from the 6 fish.
  16. The blue ones still have the white dot on the tail. Funny how the lateral line is nearly invisible on bluey. Do you know if there is any difference in the meat?
  17. Those perch look like easy pickings for a pike. I'm suprised you didn't see a pike after all that commotion in the water. If there was a tv channel dedicated to underwater fish cameras I would watch it 24/7
  18. I like the sounds of that I'll stop in this weekend.
  19. Nice big fish. I bet they put up a good fight.
  20. Ahh you caught me. It's a 20cms Walleye...I'm only 4 foot 2".
  21. I was dancing it off bottom while reeling back to shore. I keep the rod tip moving at all times...it reduces snags and taunts the walleye. Not a bad idea JohnnyB. I make my own spinners so why not my own bucktails. I'll look into those vids. I don't like calling it this, but if I tell my GF we are doing "crafts" she always helps out! hehe she's so sweet.
  22. That one fish looks like a Char... Awesome pics!
  23. Very possible. I always find my way back to North Bay no matter where I live or work. That being said, I always find my way to the fishing section too!! If anybody here makes 1/8-1/4 oz bucktail jigs please PM me. I snagged this one and have been searching for a replacement (not as easy as I thought), I'd buy 10 or 20 jigs if someone is interested.
