  1. Yep, I had "condo" in mind, not a house with an HRV. Maybe the HRV vents are not properly located, making the moisture-control system less efficient. If the HRV installer tied into your old ventilation system ... then maybe the original ventilation system should be looked at. I'm thinking you may need more breathers for your HRV so it's more consistent throughout the house. If the vents are concentrated at certain locations, you would get "hot spots", some super-dry and others not.
  2. It sounds like your trapping moisture inside the house. It's always a fine line between holding heat and controling moisture. Are your evacuating fans properly suited to your habits? Ie: is the kitchen fan on and effective when you boil water? Does your bathroom fan actually evacuate after a shower? Are these fans actually removing the air or are they weak or simply displacing the moist air? My kitchen fan is LOUD, so I don't use it when I'm cooking...this creates condensation inside my tightly sealed condo. I will be replacing it soon with a quiet, RH sensitive fan. (around $400 for a good one). Take a look at your evacuating fans. A lot of moisture/mold/condensation issues are the result of bad ventilation. Keeping your house at a constant temperature will also reduce the creation of condensation.... do you turn your heat off during the day, back on in the evenings?
  3. The Sens will go out of business just fine on their own
  4. as proud of gustavsen as they come! I'm a coyotes/jets fan because when I was kid collecting hockey cards I liked their team and I've stuck with them. You must love the thousands of young "penguins" fans who follow that team because of Crosby!
  5. Are you sure they were Whitefish not ciscoes?
  6. To my knowledge, the herring have had them for several years. I can't speak to prior. I've heard of a few herring this year that were completely clean. Thank god these things don't like walleye meat.
  7. oh jeez, he's just easy to beat. Sad, very sad. I say keep him in until the 9th goal then pull him, send him to minors and trade him for a bus. The leafs had a chance tonight.
  8. Goofstavsen is at it again. He should be winning this game for them. They needed great goaltending, especially agianst boston.
  9. I hope you recover it. That's really low! I must say I like your line "I refuse to let arses change the way I behave".
  10. I've seen them in herring in Nipissing before. I'll see 5-10 in each fillet... Not appetizing. I can't identify it though, sorry, a biologist would be the person to ask.
  11. You can be enthusiastic for a good draft position
  12. Wheeler with a sweet breakaway goal!!!!
  13. Oh, and by the way, the Jets are fighting for 3rd place not 8th
  14. I'm watching too. The crowd was so loud in the second period. Go jets
  15. I looked at that ufindfish site and wasn't very impressed. The fact that you need a google account to use it is a huge red flag for me. As soon as they say you have to use a google account, it means that it's all about google taking over the world, not about a good fishing site. (kind of like Pinky and Brain) I did find it funny that the only "Pro Marker" on Nipissing was nearly exactly where I fish sometimes. haha.
  16. I didn't think anything special of it. It's Don Cherry; he's contraversial and opinionated. It's actually nice to see someone with a true opinion once in a while...there are a lot of bought people out there who just say words and have no real purpose. He's no crazier than Howard Stern. Both guys are great entertainment but often spew Bull. More Ontario players on an ontario team???....absolutely...duh!!! But this is not Toronto's main problem and it's nothing new. Everyone is looking for an excuse.
  17. Can't wait to see if you guys get into those rainbows! Awesome chapter of fishing... Especially liked the three big walleyes stacked above the smaller ones. Thx for posting.
  18. One hell of a walleye!!! That's really crazy that it was wrapped up in line.. Great report
  19. Bacteria and or UV light would change some of chemical properties of the water. Underground is very sterile with no light penetration..... the other factor is companies trying to make money probably.
  20. The water will go a few degrees below 0 and stay liquid until the molecules are disturbed. Bill said it right, it's called supercooling. Somewhat the same effect when you open an extremely cold beer, starts off as liquid, then eventually turns to slush.
  21. Nice lakers EC1. Congrats for turning your fortunes around. PS. Yes, I see the bubbles.
  22. Haha you saw my original post before I changed it. I re-read the topic name and decided to edit This is the book I referenced in my original post Freshwater Fishes of Canada by W.B. Scott and E.J. Crossman
  23. There's also this one for Northern Ontario http://www.nomap.ca/(S(3u1ad4iw15n0ck23wtzbuxrh))/Home.aspx
  24. Don't tell me the leafs fans are now blaming non-canadians for their troubles! Will you never be happy?
