  8. Thanks Roger & Mike. I'm with Spiel on this one, I'd really like to fish with most here and at the rate I'm going it's going to take a long time. I have had the pleasure to fish with Wayne & Lew, spent some time with a few others and have had a great time with all. I would like to make a suggestion though, actually this was a topic of discussion at Lakair g2g. It would be nice to swap boat partners even if for a few hours or 1/2 a day during the g2g, especially for those that are there for more than a day or two. Whopper
  9. Good on you Roger! 75 times is awesome! I've done it a few times, this got me thinking to do more. Well done! Whopper

  15. Nice looking boats. Craft back in craftmanship! The first time I went to Rice Lake back in the 70's there was a place called Whispering Pines (still there to) that had the cedarstrip boats and I thought they were awesome, absolutely beautiful boats. When I was a small child we used to go to upstate New York for vacations and remember sitting on the dock outside the boat house and stared at a old Chris Craft that was gorgeous, thinking to myself one day when I grow up.......well still waiting to grow up Whopper
  16. Pic of the first g2g is awesome! With just a few people there at least Roy didn't have a problem with finding a place to sleep....as if he still does GaryV I was and still am simply amazed at the experience of a Lakair g2g, I sure hope to return Whopper

  22. Roger here is a link to the website that CH gave me before I went last spring, I was more interested in saltwater fishing at the time, It's a pretty big site that breaks down to regions. http://www.floridasportsman.com/regions/ Kind of funny I registered a got a lot of good feed back and a couple of invites, but the guy that was supposed to meet up with me never made it past the hotel bar Good Luck in your search! Whopper
  23. Thanks everyone for the kind words. Believe or not I have actually downsized the last couple of years, for a few years it was out of control. Besides the installation (about six full days) the maintence was taking way to much time and by the time it was all up and running right it was time to take em down (another three days). But I do enjoy doing it. One year I was late getting them up and I had people stopping at the house to see if everything was ok and if I needed any help Peter the trailer had bee sitting at the lot at my office and when I took the locks off so they wouldn't bigger up the trailer it must have made them mad so they shot the window out of my office, that didn't go over to good with the landlord. Lew it's always a big joke after I get the lights done because my wife will say "Clark your lights aren't twinkling" Happy Holidays All! Whopper
