Took the day off yesterday and to be honest with ya I would have rather been working instead of doing the snow removal thing.

Didn't know ya had to pay to ride the short bus

Well we've had a winter storm warning since Saturday and it finally got here after midnight last night. They had pretty much cancelled everything here last night before it even got here Got up at five and shoveled the first six inches of what supposed to be 10-12" today. I was getting ready to leave for work and all my guys called off so I'm thinking what the point, looks like I'll have to find something to do today Whopper

I hear ya Pete, been doing this construction thing for 30years and the whole thing has changed since I started. Sometimes it just not how well you do your job it's all about the money and "arn't you done yet". One of my pet pieves is out of sequence work that generally cost more (for the subs) and takes longer. Whopper

DanC would be a great mentor. One of my winter projects was to get better at taking pics and learn how to use all the bells and wistles that go along the digi camera. I'm kinda of struggling with the editing stuff. I have found that my camera is usually close by these days. Wow Cliff sorry to hear something like this happen to you, but like trapshooter stated can be very true sometimes. Went thru something very similar to what you our experiencing about five years ago only thing was I took a demotion and with a little patience I came out on top. Hang in there Cliff you just never know what door will open next. Whopper

I'll give my best guess I'd find a point and start drilling holes in hopes of finding a drop off and start there. another place would be an island and try to find the same as above. I'd probably be able to go a couple more days with the body fat that I carry Whopper
