  3. I agree with sinker. I've been using Pline and Maxium and never had a problem, I do six foot leaders joined to my 8lb Berkley fire line and luv the set up. Use the uni to uni to join the lines also

  8. Good stuff Chris
  9. They do make a tool for the bigger stuff but I suspect your stripping smaller wire like #12 or #10 If your doing smaller solid wire you can take a regular wire stripper and pull the insulation off in one foot sections.
  10. Razor knife and a pair of gloves
  11. That's what I thought Chris (sauger), Tom you are correct that's how I knew I caught one up there last August. We have saugeye down here which is a cross between a male sauger/female walleye and they are a little harder to tell the difference, they have the same markings on the dorsal fin but they still have the "white" spot on the bottom of the tail fins.
  12. Good fishing report Chris! The last one a sauger? Thanks
  13. Nice pics Joe! Deg's boat is built like a tank, I looked at them and was very impressed
  14. Looks and sounds like a good time was had by all Thanks for sharing Glen!
  15. Brian if I see a smaller boat I'll try to do that for ya, but most of the one's I see people trying to get out from under are the bigger bass boat with 150's and up. I think a lot of those guy are downsizing because of the gas cost.
  16. Nice fish Lew! Glad to hear you had a good time
  17. Jason is correct on used boats. Here on the Ohio side of Lake Erie aweful lot of boats sitting dry docked with for sale signs on them. In my travels the past few weeks I seen a lot of newer used boats sitting in front of people home's up for sale. Good Luck in your search
  18. Glad to hear you had a good time and arrived home safe.
  19. Good report Paul! Although I wasn't able to attend this year's festivities reading all the reports brought back some memories and a smile to my face having experienced this gala event a couple years ago myself. Always a good time. Glad your party had fun Congrats to your uncle
  20. Good pics! Good time
  21. You must not have got the memo, last time I was there one wasn't allowed to sleep Thanks for the pics TJ
  22. Maureen glad you had a good time except for having to fish with dawg Sounds like your new ride is working out for ya. Thanks for posting some pics
  23. Glad to hear you had a good time and was able to get back home safe and sound. I'll warn the state patrol about the dawg
  24. I use the uni to uni all the time joining braid to flouro and never had a knot fail yet. As far as tying straight to lures palomar for braids and improved cinch and loop knot for mono & flouros. Angler's practice casting don't know why they don't practice tying knots
