If you are a guide and you take people fishing and they are happy, you've done your job, I would be happy with that. You may want to pm Moosbunk and see if he will share some info on big pike through the ice. I can't comment on piking through the ice but I did witness first hand last season on ice out pike. I had often read on how exceptional pike fishing can be at that time of year and I was very impressed with both numbers and size. The group I was with was on Little Vermillion which fishindevil pointed out and none of us went home disappointed. DanC is also correct about NWO, in many places up there the pike just aren't targeted. Good luck in your search

Had the same experience Glen when returning home with my son a couple years ago. We fish a lot in Canadian waters and around the border at Lake Erie and last year we were hastled a few time by the border patrol, this year we never seen them once all year. The patrol stayed right down the street from my buddy's place and never seen there either

There's a BPS in Cincy, Fairfield Mall on the north side of town, don't know how much steelhead stuff they carry. I'm not a steelheader but I don't think you'll find any opportunities in Indy or Cincy for them. Now if your staying in Cincy and just want to fish find a low damp on the Ohio River or the Great Miami River, bass, saugers and catfish a plenty.

Your PB spot is a very respectable fish dawg, good report. I have yet (knock on wood) buried a hook in myself past the barb, glad to hear it healed up for ya.
