  1. Every answer to your multitude of questions can be answered here: http://www.google.ca/search?q=west+arm+fishing+guides&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari&gfe_rd=cr&ei=rOH7U7PQMMqD8QeY1IGQCw Call the local lodges and they can hook you up with a guide who would be more than happy to answer your questions in exchange for a moderate sum $$$ You're welcome. Good luck and be sure to share your experiences.

Hey, the sylvan took it like a champ, any worse and it would have been real "interesting"

ya got a big wet one from your favourite girl? She's a rock in rough times, eh?

  3. Small screw which tightens/loosens release pin.
  4. Don't forget to adjust your release pin on the dipsey. I find that out of the package they are set a bit tight and won't release on smaller fish. Too loose and they will release under load while deploying or an increase in speed our outside turns. I used to use an 8lb cannon ball to calibrate release tension, but now I go on 'feel'.
  5. What others said about letting the line out slowly, under tension. Also noticed that with snubber + flouro you are going to have 10 ft from dipsey to lure? You need to be on a big boat to land fish . From dipsey to snubber to SD/flasher to lure, I run between 7 & 8 ft max. My boat is 21 ft.
  6. Maybe a little bit glad to hear you found what you were looking for.
  7. Negative. But she cannot fish in any way shape or form. If u have a derby ticket however, you will be disqualified.
  8. They moved across the street to the north side of Lakeshore Rd. Rhey didn't do a great job advertising their move BTW, not being critical about JB's, just stating the current level of inventory.
  9. I was in JB's last week for some LO tackle and their inventory was somewhat 'skinny' (perhaps because of time of season??). I buy the vast majority of my rods & reels from JB's but if I'm looking for selection of spoons, flies & attractors, Shortwave Marine Electronics (google) in Port Credit is my preferred vendor as well as many others who fish out of Port Credit & Bronte.
  10. For sure. We did awesome last night off the pier in port credit. Glow spoons produced 9 mature kings from low to upper 20's pre & post dusk. Heading back tonite. Stop by and say high. I'll be the guy with the family bag of marshmallows. Lots to share Nice Kings there Gallie. Thx for posting.
  11. Add to that, it's also Caribanna weekend & it's gonna be busy @ the border as well. If I was you, I'd be doing like many others have suggested and change your travel times to earlier morning.
  12. Can you get us a live update on the Skyway situation in the Hammer??
  13. Dave, if you're going to spend $109, consider purchasing a wifi blu ray DVD player with Netflix built in. I got one for Sean @ Costco for that price about six months ago. Also includes YouTube and a bunch of other applications (photo album, videos etc). Definitely more bang for your buck. I'll get the model number for you when I see him tomorrow.
  14. Walmart supposedly has them ?? http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/roku-3-streaming-media-player/6000127296290?icid=SP_NA_TwoPickTuesday_NA_HP_NA_NA_HPHB_10222013_39_E&kid=kid_76661&gclid=CjwKEAjwjN2eBRDbyPWl0JLY5lYSJACPo0UiKvuEWVeOnpPmf_vaBZcM2N_BhalvjoqiEXPX6oJDGxoCbU7w_wcB
  15. Seems someone woke up on the grumpy side of the bed today?? ;)
  16. With apologies to the ladies here, that's funny How are you gonna manage "THE CHANGE" ???
  17. Alrighty then, look forward to your predictions/suggestions I don't have equip for BP though. Not that it should matter but I will be fishing a medium sized inland lake in zone 15.
  18. Enjoying the thread but want to put some theories to the test. So here's the challenge: Heading to the home lake tomorrow (Thursday) and will be available to fish from 5:00 Thursday pm through Sunday 9:00 am. Prognostications based on BP, moon phase or solnar tables would be appreciated. I will do my best to fish these times (based on consensus) and report back accordingly. Winner gets bragging rights
  19. Tenacious comes to mind. Pretty impressive hike Joey
  20. Sounds like the beginning of a long time tradition for you & your boys Pete. Enjoy
  21. You were both privileged to know one another. So sorry for you both my friend.
  22. Is your trailer rated for an additional 600 lbs?
  23. That Zara is killer for me too when hunting bass (rarely). Looks like your brother smoked ya Rob
  24. So maybe a sponsorship in your future youTube career
