Hi all, My parents are visiting from England for 10 days. They dont get to see their grandson jack in person too often, but we are making the most of it. My mum and dad came out in the boat today with Jack. My dad could care less about fishing, but Jack and mum are diehards and stayed focused for over an hour. Nothing like fishing for bonding. LOL...we did not throw dad out..he requested to be put ashore when Jack woke from his nap

HI all, I like to follow some of the viral vids on youtube. They are weird and funny and become the 'in' joke at work for a while until another one is discovered . I should get better at this underwater stuff...hopefully get some good shots. I need to get out with a buddy though as trying to film underwater on your own is not so easy. The weather has been crazy good up here...been at work mostly...but when i do get out the walleye are in a funny mood. Hey Corvy, i enjoyed it too. The walleye have been in a funny mood so i made the concious decision not to stress if they did not come out to play and just enjoy non stop pike fun on a gorgeous evening if need be, Thanks doood. Hi all, got out yesterday for an evening bite....a couple of walleye but mostly young pike. Did get the opportunity to play with the underwater camera housing again. Got a good clip of a crayfish too from yesterday afternoon when playing with my boy on our shoreline. Just jigs and spinners with minnows, a couple of minutes with a crankbait got another pike. Anyway...here's the vids. Hi All, I was beginning to go a bit stir crazy up here...has been 2 weeks since i got out. Despite the lack of fish on Lac Seul this trip, it was still an awesome day off in beautiful NW Ontario....just what my soul needed. I DECIDED TO TRY OUT MY UNDERWATER CAMERA HOUSING TODAY TOO....LOL....WITH MIXED RESULTS....BUT ITS A START! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/9s94EtV1daQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> JUST AFTER TAKING THOSE SHOTS OF MY NEW GADGET, I NOTICED THE BAMBIS FEEDING WITH MUM OUTSIDE, ALWAYS COOL TO SEE. FALL IS DEFINITELY HERE, THE CHICKENS WERE EVERYWHERE ON THE TRIP UP. THE WIND HAD JUST STARTED TO PICK UP (CONTRARY TO THE WEATHER REPORT...SURPRISE SURPRISE) AS I ARRIVED AT THE LANDING. I DECIDED TO TRY TROLLING CRANKS AFTER SEEING LOTS OF REPORTS ABOUT IT, NO LUCK, BUT NICE DAY TO CRUISE ABOUT FOR A COUPLE HOURS. AFTER A WHOLE SERIES OF ISSUES THAT PUT A DENT IN MY INTENDED PLANS, I MANAGED ONLY 2 MORE WALLEYE (SMALL). BUT SOME NICE SIZED SMALLIES MADE UP FOR THAT. GOT BACK TO THE LANDING AT DUSK...ONLY ONE OTHER CREATURE THERE, NOT LONG BEFORE HE'S GONE SOUTH NOW.
