UHHHH...did i miss something here....looks like a pretty good fishing to me...AWESOME BASS! Absolutely liking the underwater shots...that was amazing...really cool to watch the wally go home down into the weeds!
-
Nice carp....and lots of 'em too!
-
LOL Great report cliff, great fish too! I have lost my bestest fishing buddy as he moved towns, not saying our routine was anything as slick as the pikeslayers....but i do do miss the well rehearsed routine that we established...makes a lot of difference.

Good report Dana, and nuffink wrong with that walleye size wise...knowotimean! I had a similar experience with a walleye as you ddi with your greedy bass, my walleye had a gimpy fin so i know it was the same one i had just caught minutes before.

Another awesome bunch of Bass bfisher. The weather has cooled down here a bit, man has it been a hot summer!

Hi all, went out for some lake trout but the wind really picked up on route to the lake and my prefered method of anchoring up and straight jigging was not impossible but difficult and i was getting a little wet too....lol. On top of that i discovered that i have mysteriously lost 30 feet of anchor rope???? The rope was long enough to anchor in 90' FOW last summer, i used the rope to secure a tarp as a boat cover for the winter and now its 30 feet shorter??? weird. Anyway this restricted me to around 55 FOW with not much to drift and get a good set on the bottom. I did manage a few small ones...but the bigger ones i guess were on the 65-70 FOW shelf nearby. After about an hour or so of fighting my anchor and bilge pumping i decided to cast for bass....lost a really nice one that snapped through 10lb braid on a run. Going to the same lake this afternoon with a buddy to try for anything willing to bite (except mosquitos) <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/vmpuSbsMFoc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

LOL...yeah...that go pro kit looks pretty darned good...lemme know what ya think of it if you get it. Thanks Ryan, definitely dont take for granted where i live. Hey Jacques...you must think i'm a real You tell me to use one every year and i always say i will...but never do. Hey...why dont you send me one of those fine lures you make...a whitespionnerbait...and i'll do a vid just for you...hehehe....worth a try .....lol. I cant imagine Jack growing up anywhere else...the lake, boats, thew planes taking off in front of the house, snowmachines, ice augers.......these were all his first words...up north suits him...his grandpa calls him "Jack of the North". As for the planes....they are the Fly-In guys in the bay...the big ones are awesome to watch take off....the little one is a noisy annoying gnat like creature...waaaaaaay noisier than the big ones! No problem....love making and posting reports! I was certain the bass would be on fire in my usual spots JB...i was catching walleye in places i'd never even had a bite before...i learned that deep weeds is key when the heat is on, and thinking back it holds true mostly. It definitely is....we just need a few more jobs and it would be awesome....lol. When i moved here from England, seeing a bald eagle was soooooo amazing. All i'd ever heard is that they were near extinction or something.....WELL THEY AINT.....there are 2 nesting pairs in our back yard and they are almost as abundant as pidgeons are in Toronto! -

Thanks man...being a dad...i would recommend it to anyone...well..almost anyone. Hey Geoff...no set up to speak of...just dextrous fingers and a lot of trial and error. See the video i made a few years back to demonstrate my "set up" The camera is a Canon Powershot 960 Thanks Paul. LOL...the net was bent trying to pull that musky into the boat a couple weeks ago! Thanks Joey LOL...no....i fuxpletive did not get it back...spent a whole hour with ever increasing frustration trolling back and forth and did not snag it! I only had the rod 2 weeks! Thanks Terry. Weird eh Cliff?....even on the second day out there i was watching tons of them following...but they would not hit....was really hot though. The ones that did commit weren't messing around though...WHAM! -
Hi all, got out for 2 short evening sessions. I went in search of bass the first day and got walleye. Not to be outdone by a fish i went back the next afternoon to try again...got a couple bass....then lost a whole rod in the lake...then went to get some walleye as a consolation. The walleye were all hunkered down in the weeds, great fun pitching an 1/8 Oz jig into the pockets and feeling the 'THUD' of a take. Leeches were definitely on the menu...but minnows did better as afternoon turned to evening. Got a real good welcome home the second evening, my boy raced down the hill when he saw me pull up in the boat, mum only had time to put his rubber boots on...very cute. BASS AND WALLEYE VIDEO...bass were elusive for once. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tWwc1ZXK-sE?hl=en&fs=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> GOT SOME NICE SHOTS OF STUFF..... WHEN I GOT HOME MY BOY CAME RUNNING TO GREET ME UH DAD.....LETS GO I'LL GO GET MUM OFF WE WENT

Sorry...just its what i was thinking after reading what you said about money being an object. It was not meant to be smartass in anyway....it was more about all the other advice seemed a little previous until we knew how much is all, given that you had said money was a factor..

PERFECT...god i love it when it all goes right!
