  1. I'd say BC sturgeon over BC salmon anyday... you'll never see sturgeon like that here, but you can always fish for salmon here, not that big, but they are here...
  2. looking for some supplies to do some fiberglass work... anyone know of any suppliers in hamilton or surrounding areas that have good prices? Thanks

  4. thinking about picking this up for the GPS I plan on using it in the car and on the boat... anyone have any opinions or experience with the suction mount? does it hold well, does it not?
  5. now what if you have a lifetime warranty and no reciept? you pay extra to have lifetime warranty and then you need service and they nail you on no reciept...
  6. i've got a soft sided box and would never switch back... main reason is you can buy a whole whack of plano boxes and load the ones you will need, and leave the ones you don't... ex. you don't need bass tackle when going salmon trolling... the shoulder strap is nice depending on how much stuff you load in... the more you load in it, the more soar your shoulder gets... this is the one i have and it can fit 6 3700 size planos in there, and i have another 15-20 at home...
  7. i've got a pete maina combo... and for the amount of musky i've hooked or landed, i could have used an ultra light icefishing rod/reel
  8. oh oh... Wayne's got the trolling bug now... they usually have the spoon boxes at the fishing show... might wanna try there

  14. Fin Bore III I've got 2 a 4.5" and an 8"
  15. i use these on the ice... took an 8lb eye out of quinte with one of these... as well as these...
  16. couple of jigging raps (rapala) and a couple of buck shot jigs (northland tackle) that'll get ya going lure wise...
  17. Electric is definitely the way to go in my opinion... clean and easy, useable indoors and no tuning required... no performance difference interms of acrobatics or 3D flying in choppers when compared to nitro/gas units
  18. Great meeting you too Darrell, I hope you get more use out of it then i did... practice makes perfect...
  19. I've got 2... both are fin bores... 4.5" and the 8" the 4.5" is deadly... rips through ice sooo quick, you start measuring it to see how thick ice you are standing on... difference between the swede and the fin is... fin bore has curved blades and an offset handle, swede bore has straight blades and an inline handle... don't know if there are differences in the blade quality or is it just blade geometry...
  20. Good Stuff Bud... Good to see you guys wearing pfd's as well
