  1. Does the sign say "No motorized boats"? A piece of 2x4 and a couple of angle brackets makes for an excellent motor mount. Just notch the wood to fit on the gunnals and support it with the angle brackets. Cheap 20-30lbs trolling motors are commonly found for under $100.
  2. Divorce her...take half the money and buy a brand new boat package. More time for fishing. lmao that was a good one PT.
  3. Good winter What about these bad boys from the Callander Bay GTG? Or did you only want to post pictures with youer eyes open
  4. I forgot about the windshield. I too had to have mine replaced and the frame around it sand blasted. I remember one winter anout 5-6 years back where I was driving it on Nipissing with about 3 feet of snow(powder). It was coming over the hood and I climbed in and out of the windows but the Cherokee pulled my 5 x 7 hut all over that day. Was unstoppable in 4 low.
  5. Post some pics. It is nice for us newbies to wiring boat electronics to see some step by step shots. Plus I want to see some boat porn lol.
  6. Hans, I had a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport with the 4 litre High Ouput engine and it was the absolute best vehicle I ever owned. I had to replace the floor after 175K but it never let me down. My wife hated it so I sold it.
  7. Bigmac, This is the note on the site after download but before paying. Note: PC app is not an update to your plotter chip. GPS is NOT available. Routes or Markers cannot transfer to apps or plotter at present. PC App license is exclusive to one PC.
  8. Stoty, What about this option? Free to current plug-n-play chart owners, exit screen, connect Navionics plug-n-play card to your computer via a card reader, restart the Web Store and enter the Plotter section. I tried it but it says "sorry we could not recognise your card". I tried calling the U.S. customer support but it is not open on weekends.
  9. Art, I have the Navionics Lake Maps HotMaps Platinum Canada "C" from 2009 I believe. It is a micro sd card and it says MSD/HMPT - C6 VO1.22 Not sure if that helps you but I do know that Lake Nipissing is not one of the featured lakes on it. I have found some errors on it including an entire island missing in Callander Bay. To be honest I really had no clue how to use the HDS last season but I think I figured it out this winter. I'll practice a bit more and test it on a few trips down the French River and into the West Arm this summer.
  10. Good job buddy. If you want to go one morning this week (Thurs or Fri) for lakers I'll guarantee you one. I know a lake where they are slaying them right now. Close to town and just a little sled ride.
  11. Why not the HDS series from Lowrance? I have the 5 but if I did it again I'd go bigger.
  12. Ya the toxic lake one had me crying. "Just do a couple of jumping jacks will ya?"
  13. Joey, I tried to re-size them but they just get blurry. I'll see if my brother can re-size them then send them to me bigger.
  14. Ricky, I didn't know you spelled your name with an apostrophe. Like this Obannio'n?
  15. My brother has a this female and 3 kits hanging around in the bush across from his driveway. This is the mom who ventured over for a look-see. She never took her eyes off the kits across the road and they never moved. 3rd picture added.
  16. I hope so as I require a bit more than 10" of water for my boat and that is all we had at our docks last year.
  17. You have to log in and I don't do Facebook.
  18. P.M. me. Maybe I'll head out with you? At least I'll tell you where we got them.
  19. Was a good end to the season on Callander Bay. We fished from noon on Saturday until 10pm. We caught 9 walleye and a handfull of perch. Most of the walleye were small and 2 were in the slot size. We also caught one mudpuppy. Then our friend (Bertrand93) was back out this morning and he caught 5 walleye and 3 perch and 1 herring. He may have caught more after we left as we pulled the huts off today.
  20. My boys are 8 and almost 2. I've been off work since the 28th and spending every day with the little guy. Great times "being a kid" with him.
  21. We'll have to try that area together this spring with my boat. I'd like to mark a few drop-offs and shoals with my HDS and then visit them in the winter.
  22. 8 walleye in a couple hours is good. Why the Goose Islands? I thought you were heading to Blueberry Island in the mouth of the French?
  23. Good advice. Last time I had my head ripped off by a bear it hurt like hell.
  24. Check out the Blue Ice Reports on You Tube. It is done by Jakebunny for Terry Goy icehuts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5BYLjezFIU
  25. H.H. I live here and pretty much only fish Nipissing although there are many other "more productive" lakes in the area. I would love to see less pressure on Nip. I'm with Buster..there are no walleye left in this lake. Randy must have photo-shopped that picture...lol.
