O.K. I am gonna try and move my shack all the way from Sunset Bay to Callander Bay on Sat. If the ice holds up (no pressure cracks) then I should be fine. If the shack makes it alright it will serve as the GTG H.Q. -
Here are the pics of my shack. I'm sorry I did not post them in this thread earlier. It has been completely re-wired and now has two 6'4" beds in it. Currently at South Shore on Lake Nipissing but probably heading to Callander Bay. Yep that's a bathroom.

Well done Simon.

O.K. Party...ooops I mean gtg....is on! Looks like we will have at least 15 participants. We will meet at the launch at the end of Lansdowne St. in Callander for 9 am? Anyone who wants to fish earlier can get out there first. Map link is in the above post. I will bring my gas auger and I will probably have my big hut there as a resting place (it has a bathroom in it Randy). No hot dogs for you! We will be directly in front of the launch about 10 minutes out by foot. There will be tons of ice so I will also have my truck there. I may bring the old sled too. Family, friends, and kids are welcome but I am not a babysitter. Randy, Yes it is where they store the Cheif Commanda. Please bring the bar-b-q. I'll have my Serious Radio for tunes. I guess we need to decide on bait? I could try to arrange to get 1-2 pounds of shiners? Where we will be the Perch have been ferocious with a few walters mixed in. We also need to set some derby rules. How about a Toonie to enter? Perch need to be 8" to count, Walleye need to be 10" to count and Pike / Herring need to be 12" to count. Most fish and biggest fish should split the prize money? -

I'll make both of you happy. I bought my Kenmore Elite Series side-by-side fridge/freezer from SEARS. In fact, I bought all my Kenmore stainless steel kitchen appliances from SEARS.

Randy From Sturgeon Rodcaster Nipfisher Smarty Pantz NAW LucG Curlap Butcher Sturgeman Average Joe Fisher Are we in for Callander Bay? We can bar-b-que or order pizza and fish for the afternoon and "witching hour" (4:30 - 5:30). Mini derby with $2 - $5 entry fee? If you are coming from out of town and want a place to stay, let me know and I'll see what I can do? I have the Monday off as well (Superbowl hangover) so I will fish Sun. morn and Monday too. I will offer the opportunity for some people to come to my shack on South Shore for the Monday. P.M. me or post here for info. -
Lightweight, strong, ice fishing chairs

I find the tri-pod chairs to be ball-breakers. No fun sitting all day with your junk squished. -

They had really good strong and lite folding chairs at Costco last year. I think they were $25-$35 each but well worth the money. -
Glad you had no boogies in the last position. Pretty coll I checked it out on line.

Speil, The slot size is easier to type at 40cm -60 cm rather than 15 and 3/4 - 23 and 5/8.

"Now look at them yo-yo's that's the way you do it....." They are making fun of us all! Down with Dire Straits.

I drive my 2004 Explorer Sporttrac on the ice when I determine it is safe enough for me. I absolutely have comprehensive on my truck for the sole reason that I drive it on the ice. Costs me a few extra bucks but well worth it if I ever make a mistake with my judgement. I have friends driving brand new trucks out on the ice when they determine it is safe for them. If it is your every day driver and you use it for ice-fishing then it is worth it. F.Y.I. I talked with Band staff at Bear Island today in Temagami and they opend the ice road yesterday morning with 8" of ice. I'll plan my trip for later in the month.

Good report Lincoln...I think it is finished now. How many eyes were caught for the trip and how many slot sizers? Did you get many "cigar" eyes? Only 50 fish...or 50 walleye? You have like 100 pictures of fish. That aside..thank you for puting up such a great post. It is like I was there on the trip with you (I can actually smell the farts) lol.

Good on ya for puting her back Simon. She'll make a few more in that lake if she lives a few more years.

Tough choice but the right one Aaron. Always been my motto....Family first, fishing second. I drive my wife crazy with fishing talk but I'm always there for her and my boys (2 and 8).

The show was like the first 2 periods. AWESOME! The show had a better ending than the game though. Great episode, I dont have a PVR so I'll watch it again on Sunday.
