I was told that everything major in the Lund booth is a pre-ordered/purchased rig...so you won't get any deals there...unless one of the dealers happens to have a boat in their own booth. Lund is smart...why use their own money to advertise!

Exactly what I was gonna say fisherman. My 5 watt 1985 Motorola finally packed it in, so had to go to a hand held this summer and that was a fight as well to stay analog with Rogers. They will only sell their new digital phones, so I had to find an old analog phone that had been on their system before. Next problem will be that I hear they will be dropping their analog capabilities all together in the near future. Kinda like Televisions apparently in 2009 will no longer work with the old dial turn tuner! That said....I never had any issues raising Wiarton Coast Guard in the past on a VHF, the many times our old Fiberform and it's OMC drive left us stranded all over G bay.

Different medium, different decade, same issue. First it was reel to reel tape, 8 tracks and then cassetts(sp). Borrow a friends vinyl album and record it. Then VHS & Beta lol..two tape players and record a copy.....now DVD's, Ipods etc.... and what Dan said.

Good luck Steve. Leah's had our 15th departure date on the applications as well...to no positive use. Lucky that your X has their Birth Certificate originals in hand !! Didn't think you could use a copy of the birth certificate...so you may get the applications delayed/denied anyhow. Don't forget your signed declarations that your kids can travel with you, but I bet you're well versed in that! I would also call your airline and be sure about their passport/lack there of requirements as that may/can be different than the destination country... due to "alternates" on the flight plan.

Don't venture away from his spot then...I read that Hyatts been flooding the ice to build thickness! We may sound like old mother hens...but we have your best interests at heart. I remember this last year like dejavue....and some didn't listen. Thankfully they were able to get home and post their "I fell thru the ice, should have listened" report!
