  1. Hey Joel, I had a cottage on Wollaston for 30 yrs lol, just recently sold, I am not very techy , but if you can personal mssg me so i can send my cell number I can help dial you in a little bit more on the bass/walleye situation..... cheers, Dave
  2. Hey Bud, I have a cottage on Wollaston, nice little lake. As you mentioned, there are largies, smallies, pike and Lake Trout. Largies - hard to beat senkos, dropshotting or a jig/pig at the shallower north end of the lake, there is a large weedline in front of the stone wall "cottage" at that end of the lake. Smallies can be had along that weedline early in the morning, but the truly large smallies suspend over 50-100ft at the other end near the hump feeding on baitfish (spoons work). Pike are everywhere and there are some monsters. No walleye unfortunately. Guy caught a 20lb Laker while I was up, but it expired after the fight, too bad. Most are 1-1.5 lbs. On the southeast side there is a white Skeeter tied up with a cover, make sure you pitch a few along my dock as I have been letting fish go there while I was up for vacation last week. Good luck, If you have anymore questions, just ask. Pokeherman
  3. Hi guys, I'm getting this info from one of the hut operators on Callander Bay who is planning on putting his huts out(hopefully) on Monday. The bigger concern seems to be getting minnows?? Dave
  4. Brian, I am located in Mississauga, just say the word and off we go. PS I am NOT scratching anything ! Dave
  5. If anyone is interested in heading up to Callander Bay tomorrow (they have 5 plus in) and is willing to split gas, I'll drive cause I gotta go ice fishin or I'm gonna go nuts Later, Dave
  6. Hi all !! Longtime lurker, first time poster. Amazing site. Fished just east of Crystal Beach on Erie. Smallmouths starting to concentrate and we found fish in the 30-35' depth most co-operative. Green and brown tubes w 1/2 oz weight and 1 0z jigging spoons(gotta luv the vex) were the ticket. Most fish between 3 and 4.5 lbs, no dukers yesterday tho ( 5 biggest fish for 21.5 lbs bag, great on Rice L, but not for here at this time of year). However, 1 bonus fish was a 15lb MUSKY on 8 lb line. That was a blast. Unfortunately i forgot to put the digi in the Skeeter, but when my buddy develops the film on his disposable camera... Tightlines, Pokeherman
