Leah's cousin, while wintering in the Bahamas, won an auction to go to Ardilaun Island, Georgian Bay, plus a Salmon Fishing Charter. Anybody have an information on this island resort that I can pass on?

My prefered route to the Lakeshore is 400..Black Creek drive...all the way down it and left after you go under the train bridge. Just follow that street and no choice after a handfull of blocks it turns south.. and then down thru the park and out onto Lakeshore Blvd. No issues with traffic messes on 401 W/427 etc.
Charles would be correct. You can do as suggested and drive into York Dale..park..head for the South East corner of the complex and you'll see the subway entrance doors under the overpass/Allen Expressway. Ride it South all the way down to Union Station, I would think, and then street car or bus West on Lakeshore to the CNE grounds.
Personally though...with all that said above....I'd skip the Bull and just pay the money to park and save the lost 3 hours you're going to spend on Public Transit to tour the show.
Thanks EVERYONE. Since we be-headed and gutted one of the "in the round" methods will be happenin later today.
Solopaddler MUCH APPRECIATED..and that will be printed out for sure.
Glen..SORRY...Dano and I only kept one eater each and the rest are back swimmin for next time...so Ron can have another chance!
Extremely sorry for your loss Maureen. Been there..done that.... and know the agony all to well. Think of the good times and carry on the best ya can!

Exactly Maureen/Lew...many fires these days are when the hydro has gone out and people are using candles. I have 7 pre-wired smoke detectors (2 basement/2 main floor and one outside each kids bedroom upstairs) in our house and a heat detector on the ceiling above each fireplace hooked to the alarm system. Out of the 7 prewired...one on each floor has a battery back up in it.
Paul..smoke detectors won't help with the CO2...you need seperate or combo units for that.
I have the plug ins in each room there's a fireplace and down in the basement.
Ron says he's gonna drill me enough holes tomorrow so I can get mine in and start it up.....
...pending that..first week in May will be my first outing in the boat for ice out Pike.
Freshly dumped deer carcus and associated parts this afternoon in the snow bank outside our gate.
Luckily I've kept Midhurst CO - Wayne Lintack's business card on my fridge ever since he visited me in my hangar way back in November of 2000 and his cell phone number is still valid. That let me skip the recorded tip line at least...and he even answered despite the fact he is off work 'till Tuesday. Passed it on immediately to CO on shift and I got photos before the animals get to it and foot print shots in the snow. One day we'll nail whom ever this is...I've been finding stuff like this almost yearly, including deer hung to bled out in the woods, since buying this property in 1992.
Don't let that shot fool you. There's lots of open water on Georgian Bay...lake Huron and all the ice you see in this shot is now piled on Wasaga Beach after Mondays 90 K winds.!
Yes Al...as i stated in my PM a slot fish has to go back down the hole...dead or alive..hopefully alive. As do any beyond the one fish over 18.1" you are allowed if fishing Division 18
Slot on Division 26 / Lake Temagami is 18.1" to 24"
All the Lakes surrounding Lake Temagami are Division 18 and you can only keep one fish over 18.1", out of your 2(con) or 4(sport) that you're allowed.
