  1. 1-Start with a nice fire that will give you a nice bed of coals 2-Cut up some pieces of foil big enough to wrap your fillets 3-In the middle of the foil spread some butter the size of your fillet 4-Place a fillet skin off, back against the butter 5-In a bowl mix some diced tomatoes, lemon juice, chopped onin and season to your taste buds 6-Place a nice layer of the mixer on the fillet 7-Wrap your fillet with the foil and double your foil. (Don't be affraid of using lots of foil, I usually have 4 layers of foil per side) 8-Once your fire becomes a bed of coals trow in the packs and flip after 15 minutes, cook for an other 15 minutes. 9-ENJOY!! Hope this help, P.S. no dishes to wash
  2. I agree that this is Bull My neice took the course at college to work in that field and had to learn to identify fish without and with skin on. I have never taken any course and know what a freaking walleye looks like without any skin. Sorry to hear about your fine..
  3. I fished that lake about 7 years ago. Did good for walleye by the falls North East East and did pretty good for pike south east of the lake. Keep your eyes pealed for flotting logs, there was lots of them when I was up there.
  4. Last summer I was using gulp and my wife was using minnows. At different times of the day one was doing better than the other but minnows got more action, although it's usually one minnow = 1 fish unless you get robbed and then it's 2 minnows = 1 fish . I brought in 3 walleye with the same gulp will my wife rebaited her jig.
  5. Hello fellow OFNer's My byddy is going to fish Tamagami Lake this weekend and was wondering what the slot size for walleye is. He also what's to know if they catch a slot size will ice fishing, it still has to be released. Right? Thanks alot in advance
  6. I keep 2 or 2 walleyes for my Saturday night fish fry and usually bring home a few on Sunday for Mom
  7. Well we drove yup from Sudbury and I spent 5$ of grubs 8$ on drinks and 12$ to get in. Got to meet my first OFNer in person do, that was my high light. The boats got me dreaming again for a newer one. All in all i can't say that I will be making this trip again next year. Ho ya stopped at BPS ans spent over 80$ there, so maybe just go straight there.
  8. Hi Mudbutt I live in Sudbury and have fished Nepewassi a few times. You can access the lake from Markstay or Estair. The pike and walleye fishing is always pretty good and you always have the chance to hook you to a muskey. You can always find a nice spot a get a crap load of perch. Hope this help
