  1. Hey Roy.. you got a bus licence... Maybe pick us all up along the way to Ben Land ! Another great adventure Ben! What a hog !
  2. I have a '57 - 392 Hemi in the hangar somewhere... wanna try that out! lol ... looks like 521 and 467 liquid cools from others for sale.
  3. Okay.. well leave some for us for the following week! lol
  4. I sure hope so Rob. Hope it's enough of a melt down to let it freeze solid. When exactly are you leaving and I'll try to get an update for you before you go... maybe john the fisherman will post as well with a Bear Island view of things.
  5. Issue is lunker.. you can't lift it by yourself. I use a fork truck in the hangar to move it around. Fine I guess if it goes on the trailer nice etc but they don't cut water that good with a fairly flat bottom. I have a 25HP 4 stroke Honda on mine. Pushes it along very well when not loaded down. Just hard on anybody up front in anything over 1 footers.
  6. Advise... take your high rubber boots ! And what Terry... you're going fishing toooo..
  7. Heck... I looked at mine to confirm there was even a belt driving that fan and it didn't look too easy to "just pull that fan shroud off".
  8. I still can't get an answer out of them 24/7.. but checked my credit card receipts, to date, and they haven't billed me either so thus far I'm out nothing. Hope your parts arrive as expected !
  9. Got it done and thought it looked like a BP oil barrel ! LOL
  10. Some real nice fishies there... what did you catch the top one on???
  11. I guess nobody read the link Spiel supplied..... states of fish being frozen right into the lake ice.. and surviving until it thaws again.
  12. I wouldn't trade my steel 16' work boat for anything... but not because I use it to fish from. It's for hauling lumber... cement bags.. stone... moving stuff in and out from the island spring and fall etc. Sure wouldn't want it for drifting the weed beds, but we do use it some nights to troll the shoreline. Remember.. steel RUSTS and right thru. I had to totally refurb this one with lots of welding and after 4 summers I've got to do the sides and edges below the water line again in the spring.... and I touched it up mid season year two as well. But trust me (or should I say Leah)... you don't wanna ride in one on rough water !
  13. Found a battery in the shop (6v -12AH). Search Panasonic or Matsushita Electric batteries. Got my doubts... but the case has right on it MADE IN USA.
  14. I raz my Dutch father-in-law about his wooden shoes all the time... built in floation device for when they fell in the canal ! lol
  15. Yah... but did she also tell her that Spiel supplied me with a spare larger tip ?? ??
  16. Deepest condolences Ron. Been a long battle and she's not suffering anymore. Think of the good times and do what she told you to do.... follow your dreams and be happy. Wayne and Leah
  17. That too Peter... but I shouldn't have a problem this year since it's 2" shorter ! lol
  18. Looks like a popular muskie... did ya stick a hose down it's yap Bill ! lol
  19. I run mine 50 to 1 instead of the 40 to 1 spec'd... but only because I already have 50 to 1 for my chainsaw, power broom and whippersnippers. NGK plug eh... never looked at mine. Something for tomorrow...
  20. Crappie Steve... how is the bugger..
  21. As I stated in your original thread... ordered parts Dec 15th.. confirmed order automatically.. next day email saying processing..next day backordered. Sent them an email last week to ask what's happening and got no response. Your mileage may vary...
  22. Lakair... or somewhere else were there's fish !
  23. My 2HP lightning xt with a 9" blade drills like a champ and bonus is it's lightness to the 3 hp! Or you could just spend $30 on new blades.. or search the board for "sharpening auger blades".
