  2. Thanks 24/7.. Sheri finally emailed me. One part is on it's way to them from Shimano and the other is a week out. Should see my parts by March it sounds.. so I'll wait and see.

  5. #8 would be great Cliff...# 10 would suffice! lol
  6. Thanks Skud... we're probably gonna drive out on Saturday as well and leave the sleds at home.
  7. My Lund is in the water from about May 10th to late October (the 26th last year). I scrub the sides a few times thru the season with a sponge on a broom.. similar to a kitchen mop. The bottom doesn't get too too bad and a spray of starbrite hull cleaner and a rinse takes care of it pretty good when I bring it home. This is on painted hull.. not bare aluminum mind you. My airplane floats... bare alum.. get etched nice and shiney below the water line. Sometimes I think I should take it in shallow water and sink it so the entire float looks the same. Now Temagami is pretty clean water... take the boat to Nippissing at Lakair for a week and it gets almost as dirty as a whole summer on Temagami. Not sure how quick Simcoe slims them up.
  8. I'll be leaving the sled at home me thinks... bare ice and no snow not too kind to track sliders.
  9. No Emil.. Yes you can do it yourself if you aren't licenced... but to be legal you still require an electrical inspection/permit....if you really wanna be precise and legal. I'd be darned if I'd go thru that for a basement... but since you don't appear skillled/comfortable for the panel hook up I'd be getting someone that is... and then it's catch 22 because they risk losing their licence for not calling for an inspection. Outside walls... did mine a dozen + years back using 3" thick Celfort (R21 I believe) tight against the wall and retained with 1x3 strapping drilled and screwed into the block wall. Slap the drywall over and you're done. No framing.. no air space behind to collect mold.. etc. and was inspected by building inspector. It was mandatory to have basement insulated for new house permit sign off on the "insulation" inspection. How are all these houses out there built post 1995 without basements insulated.
  10. Bass? They taste just as good before or after opener!
  11. When you said.. "sure I'm in!"
  12. lol Roy. Was gonna say that was what raised the fur on the "spam" posters. First post a boat for sale and second a link to an owned website. We've had many of those come and go over the years that caused considerable heartache around here. Sounds like Web-Fisherman may be a keeper though... well at least I like his profile picture! lol

  20. Nothing wrong with my card info... and I have the monthly $$$$ online buying statements to prove it ! lol They just can't be bothered to answer their email and I'm not picking up the phone for $1.65 worth of parts.
