Nelson.. Temagami.. you can either hit the Lake Temagami Access road to the hub and drive out on the ice road that goes all the way to Bear Island.. or go to town and drive out the packed path from the boat ramp and follow to it becomes plowed to at least my place and probably down to at least Island 27. Just be sure to go a GOOD distance from the road before drilling any holes to fish. Also many lakes right along #11 that you could park and walk out onto them.

Let me guess.. they slowed down to cross a pressure crack and dunked the nose? As for current...Saturday was the first time fishing a lake where my line was sideways in the hole.

I just wish they'd get on with it so I can see the first wreck before my daughter wants to leave for night skiing!

Don't know about a land dispute...but I've heard on the radio that almost all the OFS trails are closed = no snow - flooded trails.

We crossed a few that were probably 8 to 10 inches wide.. and the "trough" refrozen. On the way back in there was a few spots that were starting to shear over top of each other.

Thanks Brian !! Was great of you and the Mrs... and Dave and the Mrs to come out for this great cause. Just watching the maddness of people just having to own a starbucks coffee maker in the silent auction was well worth the price of admission.. lol. No wonder some families are broke with this cocaine modified coffee out there! Thanks to everyone that supported this fund raiser... I think the final tally was approaching $5000 raised for research into this terrible, (currently) uncureable, disease.

Well we saw 13 to 14" and full of air bubbles.... but still plenty safe for vehicles. Lots of pressure cracks.. don't slow down! We drove from Innisfil Beach to Kempenfelt Bay and back today.
