  1. Because people would expect me to be available in the summers!
  2. Hopefully we get lucky and it totally melts down. It's about a foot deep out there... everywhere right out past the watchers. Rain tomorrow and 7. Rain next Tues/Wed/Thurs... we can only hope ! So slushy I didn't even touch down on it.. although I would have loved to out by Thunder beach to get a better picture of an animal on the ice I was circling around. Darn thing looked viscious like a wolverine with a big bushy tail. Don't know if it was a huge Fisher or what it was. Best I could get at 55/60 MPH from 20 feet off the ice.. one handed.. thru the window!
  3. Thanks Bernie and Cliff ! It's just rivets and aluminum...... 13,500 rivets, or so, per set of floats... 18,000 per airplane.. but based on most boat repair threads around here I apparently know nothing about keeping them from leaking ! LOL
  4. ..or did someone drill the holes for you for tomorrow ! lol
  5. Another GREAT outing Rick.. congrats !
  6. Can't beat it if the rigger is good. I forget what I paid for my unitrol... but it was more than that and you get three rods/reels to boot.
  7. LOL !
  8. ..say what.. Obama.. I'm not sure yet ! lol
  9. I turn busted stuff.. back into usable stuff ! ..and build new stuff as well.
  10. Come on Joe... that ice ain't safe....not today anyhow!
  11. But do you have Roe for him Rob???
  12. Thanks Adrianne.... twice you've done this now for these (show) guys. A REAL shame that they can't get this info out themselves for the public and even more so for the paying vendors !
  13. Yah look kinda pale though Simon... cough... cough..
  14. That's a big water beatle !!!!! Great fishing as well... and cooking ! Reminds me to find a small pan for fresh fillets... to go with my water boiling kettle for Mr. Noodles.
  15. Don't ruin the "moment" !
  16. 18+ inches at the dock where I drilled for water.. more where it's been kept clean for parking. Tybo and my truck where side my each last week. Guess we're all getting old(er). Everyone has a hut now. Sounds like a good deal Dan... we'll see how this one holds up under you ass.. lol
  17. Any more crap and we'll have to hire North American Van Lines to go North from now on ! lol
  18. So TJ... "put you on the list"... does that mean I can go to any ticket window and give them my name?? Thanks !
  19. Gotta have the key fob Jim !! Makes it real nice when packing the boat up in waters you don't wanna start the main engine in. Pack the boat while you drive to deeper water on the electric.
  20. Like the GMC/Ford/Dodge debate! I like my motorguide wireless ! Just make sure it's mounted out far enough that the shaft assembly can swing thru it's designed tangent without contacting the gunnel edge... right Terry! (otherwise it can explode like breaking spagettii!)... but the shaft is guaranteed for life ! and if you break it they usually have to give you a new power head as well.. .. as they they can't get the shaft out of the old head in most cases!
  21. Glamor (Bear) is one lake North of Wolf... two North of Pine..which = the third lake North of Gooderham as Pine is right at the town! Just had a look and yes... it's South of Loon Lake. There are other little lakes in amongst.. but the 4 main large lakes, S to N, are Pine, Wolf, Glamor and Loon. Stoney lake is to the west of Glamor and accessible from the highway between Gooderham and Haliburton.
  22. Good to see you finally went fishing Jed.... you needed a trip out !
  23. Great stuff Simon !
