  1. Yah, I paid Google Earth to put that there, to mark my runway. Now there's no low flying excuses from guys cutting through my airspace! LOL
  2. Yammadoo guy?! Why on earth would I take him, when I had this company for 7 days! LOL
  3. I could sled down the road from my place here in Penetang, drive through my F-in-Laws yard and right onto Gbay myself Akrisoner... just no adventure in that for me when it's in the "back yard". One interesting Winter that's for sure!
  4. 2+ feet of snow in Temagami and 24" of GOOD ice + a top coat. Best sled travel in YEARS, like riding on a cushion of air. Pulling huts at 45MPH or more at times with zero issues. Great week, going to go back up again. Still a month of ice left for sure.
  5. I'll be back on it tomorrow... although there is still a good foot here at home in the yard!
  6. Ice can't be too bad yet, watched a guy drive his truck off on the news last night. At least this broadcast wasn't the usual fear mongering style of CTV.
  7. Yep, that's us at "Wayne's World". Never sure of our schedule as we make it up as we go along with guests and the need to come back home every few weeks to cut 8 acres of grass. The only time that I fish for smallies is casting off my docks and that generally catches me a pike or pickerel instead!
  8. Great stuff guys... Terry you break anything???
  9. Bill, instead of putting them in parallel... add the battery, put the accessories onto it's lugs and buy a automatic battery isolator for the charging circuit. Find that charging feed wire from the big motor, pull it off the original battery and put it on the feed of the isolator and then feed the two batteries off the dual outputs of the isolator. No more damaging voltage drops to accessories when you start the big motor. Bonus is if you accidentally kill either battery you simply jump positive to positive to get the big motor going.
  10. Terrance was busy Bri !
  11. .. you get ModQ'd Roy ?? !!
  12. Jen would have never done her popcorn on that thing Rob !!
  13. 1/2 the stuff listed is aviation medical invalidating and he should have self grounded. Sounds like he got what he was after, maybe he had a double indemnity clause on his life insurance for accidental death.
  14. What I wanted to hear as well Terry, but 4 days of snow in the forecast near future. Hoping we can all drive out to the dock, as we can't park in either of the towns water side parking lot without being towed apparently this year!
  15. Certainly can't blame the aircraft on this one... [/img]
  16. Good luck.. how much snow is on the ice surface??? Any slush fields???
  17. Not that I know of, but try calling Loon Lodge.... they'd know.
  18. Thought for a minute that Leah's old man got a new boat....
  19. ... usually a pretty good trail beat in by the TAMAR camp..
  20. YEP..
  21. Not sure on that Misfish... I've never seen so much water. My laneway.. in my own laneway, not the concession Rd.... culvert is full to the top with water, water has overflowed the other culvert inside the gate and is running across the end of my laneway, etc. Until that stops flowing under the insulation of the remaining snow it's gonna be a mess!
  22. -6C and snowing here in Ptang.. gonna be -15 by 6pm. We lost a good 2.5 feet of snow from Wednesday to 7am this morning.
  23. FINE.. for no rigid tow bar!!
  24. See those check "cables" Terry!! LOL Great stuff Dan!
