So while we all piss and moan about a slogan change on future manufactured plates, who was the premier when they "wasted our money" and changed it from the perfect "Keep it Beautiful" to the current "Yours to Discover"?? Maybe we should just go back to no slogan...
RSA Yachtworks. $935 + tax, premium hasn't changed since the day I bought the boat. 12 years later almost hope someone steals it! LOL
$88K agreed value replacement on the boat
$4.7K for the "tender" (9.9 Pro kicker)
$4K for my Shorlander Trailer
$2.5k for personal effects
$2million in Liability.
-2C or better EVERY night for the next 14 days in Temagami. Considering ice out was the Monday before the May 24 last year I'm working towards opening camp in JUNE this year!
They hit ice estimated at 19 FEET thick just off Hope Island yesterday and this is the third coast guard ice breaker to try in the past month that has been unsuccessful at getting the grain boat out of Midland Harbour. It'll be awhile..
Best deal is the MIG welder that is on sale every 2 weeks for $200 vs $600 regular price. They ordered 50,000 by mistake instead of 5000. They work great too, even on 100 feet of 14/3 extension cord...
Been a bad winter for that, with numerous marinas suffering the same fate. Temagami Marine lost 1/2 of a storage section 2 weeks back affecting about 24 boats. Bad Winter for snow load with temperature cycles locking the snow to steel roofs vs the usual shedding process. Even here the snow NEVER fell off my hangar or shop roofs 5/12 and 3/12 pitches.
I didn't even think they'd pay and let you walk away anymore to avoid owner "mortgage burning" fires. I thought you had to rebuild...
Sorry about your parents mess there FF17... and I thought worrying if my roof was still there this winter was tough.
I'm at a loss as to why the judge would even state it like that "8 years for each count"... some will think he's going to jail for 128 years... not just 8.
As Terry stated, I think most of us have blown through a stop sign at some point of our lives and thankfully didn't end up in a similar mess. If the bus driver hadn't have been speeding... the guy would have cleared the intersection before the bus got there. Just sayin...
Interesting how the F150 now has the "good" rating, as only a few years back it was the only one under scrutiny for the cab tearing apart too easily. Thanks Lew!
Where's your licence plate young man!! I just missed the camo diahatsui (sp) for sale in Sudbury.. already on tracks.
EDIT.. by the way, put some colour on that thing or we'll never find you!.. or is that the idea?
All fishing from shore is apparently illegal down there now. I know that on Lloyd and Keith's trip in December that they had to be up and fishing at 5 AM and packed up and gone before the police made their rounds at about 10AM every day. Trying to make you take a Charter is the goal it seems...
