  1. You can buy "bilge cleaner" at CTC... would suspect nothing more than dumping it in .. adding water and letting it soak (scrub what you can reach) and then pump out (or pull drain plug) into a bucket.. not the lake!
  2. 2007 Baron.. mine is almost spotless, what have you been washing / dumping in there to wonder?
  3. Any that liked slipping in for lunch while out fishing (or flying) you're out of luck this year! Letter to Our Customers May 16, 2017To all our valued Customers, Friends, and AssociatesIt is with great regret that due to circumstances beyond our control Henry's in SANS SOUCI will not be opening this season. Henry's South @ Wye Heritage Marina is operating as usual. There is an extreme shortage of qualified personnel in the Restaurant Industry and compounded to this difficulty is the seasonality and unique island location of our Sans Souci restaurant.Any questions or concerns please email [email protected]
  4. You'd be in trouble because you were supposed to obtain a possession only licence a decade + ago.. then register the gun.. for the now defunct registry that was to be destroyed by all involved, but of course every police force still has a a copy of it. Now if you had of got that possession only licence back when.. you could enjoy the fact that it has now evolved into automatically giving you a PAL level permit and you can buy as many guns as you want!
  5. It's Penetang.... We go North to Temagami..
  6. Okay Rob.. you know the rules and as I told Jim just let yourself in and out. Our son that lives right next door knows who's allowed here (he met Jim today), so between him, his wife and the yard cameras all is good...we're hopefully gone North for the Summer by Thur AM.
  7. If they'd sell two tags at a time, he could have hit another. George.. George.. did you trip... are you alright. Jim shot the bird, I walked out of the hangar and the other Jake was still staring at his buddy! Good size Tom... about an 8" beard.
  8. What's that photobombing behind you?? Is that my pet Mallard or another Turkey.. LOL
  9. Black Flies... tried to get a picture of the swarm trying to carry me away today, while I worked on the pool, but they stole my camera and took it off into the woods! http://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/black-fly/
  10. Congrats Rob!! I think 2 hours, first trip, is a new record.....

  11. I can tell you categorically.. you'd better have a bug hood or lots of alcohol in your system. After spending 8 hours outside today I can tell you they are the worst that they have been in a good decade.
  12. LOL... glad it worked out Jeremey, unless of course the old man wanted a new boat!!
  13. Call the float plane base and see if it's down there! North wind today... Number I have is 705-454-8933
  14. SUN just came out in PTang! Still blow'n 50K though!
  15. Even in my 2150 Lund, Bruce, why I asked. Been boating the Sound from VHarbour to Manitoulin for 38 years.
  16. How big is your boat?? A west wind could give you a BIG surprise when you come out of the Green Island channel and try to turn towards HH in the middle of the Sound.
  17. My 2150 Baron has always had a "gas" smell when I open the floor rod storage door. Never been a hint of fuel in the bilge or any suspected leaks. I have had the entire floor out when eradicating the mice and when doing so confirmed there is zero leakage from the fuel tank. I think it just permeates through the plastic fuel tank and hoses.
  18. LOL Terry... Simon was born with COMMON SENSE though !! Great shots Mate !
  19. Break out the DEET... it's Black Fly season!! Man...

  20. Verado's are supposed to have a dedicated battery for the engine... another for the kicker and accessories. Has nothing to do with power to start, it's just making sure you don't wamp the computer with a run down battery. My 275 takes about 2 seconds to start after hitting the key and has never failed to start even fishing in -10C weather. My 1000cca AGM's are currently on season 10 and starting season 11. The only one that needs changing is the kickers, but I'll be doing them both and throwing the good one in my walk behind pallet truck before heading for camp. Verado and kicker batteries NEVER on an onboard charger and boat is in the water 6.5 months per year.
  21. HA.. I thought you were talking about me for a minute Shayne!!
  22. True dat GL... Why I have my 2150 Baron at the dock. Wife gets to deal with draining her 16' steel boat! LOL
  23. MB2.. you bet with Matt?? Did you shake on it!! LOL
  24. Sure it does... you pull it out when under power and put it back in before you stop! How we drained our boats as 8 year olds ... and still do. Now a bigger boat with limited access to the plug, I'd question how well that ping pong ball seats when stationary, as there certainly isn't considerable pressure when it's only 8" below the surface.
  25. Got nothing but scam emails when I listed the wife's Sporttrac on kijiji and car trader. Sold it off my facebook page in the end, as I did last month with her Trailblazer (in 12 hours I might add). We do have a classified section here.. I'd start there and work out after that. How I sold my sisters trailblazer in 2009 here. $20 for the buyers package and it shows liens / no liens and a spread of what the vehicle is worth retail and wholesale. Make sure you "sell" it on paper for somewhere in the middle of the MTO's pricing, but get as much as you can for it. No Etest required, that's the buyers problem if you're selling as is.
