  1. BTW.. next time drive the truck down first Will.. it'll bust the ice.
  2. UMM Will... next time put the motor UP silly !
  3. Impellors get destroyed when you are too hasty at starting after dunking the boat. If any water was in there.. even a trace.. it can freeze the impellor to the housing. If you dunk it and fire it immediately you can tear the impellor. Be sure to let the lower unit "water soak" for a few minutes before hitting the key when fishing this time of year.
  4. Home for Christmas Kelvin.. there's a good sign in there ! I'm sure you remember that I sprung Jen last year on Christmas Eve from the hospital. This Christmas is even better yet with her healthy and moving well on arm crutches. I'm sure next Christmas will be extra special for you and Diane, as you look back on all this and reflect. Wayne
  5. Thanks for keeping the season alive G ! Christmas # 26 without Dad, #3 without Mom and sister Wendy, but this year at least I don't have to sit in the local hospital with Jennifer on Christmas Eve and that definitely dulls the hurt. My Brother's jet just pushed back in Toronto.. destine for Amsterdam and then back to Kazakhstan by about 5am Christmas Day. He was only here for 10 days and we couldn't make a connection even for lunch. I asked him to watch for Santa on his way back to Kaz... as he goes around the world the opposite way!
  6. Henry is the best customer support they have going for them Matt...
  7. Thanks guys! Leah just pulled into the garage, with Jen on board, a few minutes ago. Amazing how easy she moves around on her forearm crutches. She's still got a long way to go, but it's amazing what she's currently doing without any mechanical connection to that leg. She is currently WELL beyond, with leg function, any of the others we know that have had this operation long before her.
  8. 50th Day of Physio!! Tour de France look out.. lol <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/uWYM6VM_eGg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  9. I hope that's WHEN towing the trailer Mike! My 5.0 x F150 XLT dash screen Average fuel consumption is currently showing 13.4 l/100km, after some hard runs around town for supplies this morning. That's 17.55 MPG for Billy Bob and 21.1 MPG for us North of the "gallon shy" line. When towing a draggy/heavy 22' enclosed trailer I average under 20 litre/100km... usually about 18.2 or so... but at 20litre/100 that equals 14.1 miles per imperial gallon.
  10. Aren't you glad you didn't heed any advise that the river was blown and unfishable? Why many of us suggest if you have the day available to just make the most of it, as fish are a bonus.. and you sure got your bonus!! Nice shootin!
  11. Grab one if he has it now Frank... they get as rare as hen's teeth when you really need one !
  12. "I paint'm just as good as the local taxidermist!"
  13. That would be the heat exchangers for the liquid cooled sleds... but we knew what you meant!
  14. ;O) you know better than to post that in the open Albert...
  15. They are "Opossums" in Canada and a similar nuisance as Racoons. Biggest issue to pets will/would be flea transfer and the diseases that can go with it.
  16. Okay.. I have lots of cable "cut offs" with no other use for them.. swagging tools and some cable ends around here that I can fabricate a point or installed a sharpened bolt into.... so I think I can make something similar with no real expense but my time.
  17. Do they really get enough force going to make a good spray Dave?? I have lots of stuff around here to make something similar....
  18. Terry has scratchers.. I have bolts thru my skis for the days they're needed. Both seem to do the trick. Mine's air cooled so I'm only worried about the track/sliders. Terry's is liquid cooled and I think he also added something to mist the cooler...or that may have been Fishhunter/Lloyd.
  19. Sorry to hear Bruce. Always a terrible day no matter the reason it comes to be.
  20. J.. what the heck are you doing in wadge? How many homes did you buy.. lol

  22. Looks like some great waters... why fellas with electric trolling motors would get out and push their boats, that's another story!
  23. Walk it right into the shop in Peterborough... that said, I haven't seen a need for that yet after numerous years on my two. Maybe I should actually oil them this year though....
  24. Thanks for the porn Larry!!! And here I was staring at Midland Harbour still wide open today... and I can't chase them anymore up here in 14 !
  25. Damn it Kelvin.. when does it end. Glad they caught it and sounds like things are going towards the positive. Keep the fight going and you know where to find me if you need to chat!
