  1. Probably takes better pictures than my Mom's old Super 8 !!
  2. I'm gonna say it just one more time... you DO NOT want the Eco-boost engine! Way too small an engine to be pushing a full size pickup let alone towing anything with it. That is why they are burning 18 litre/100 km vs the 5.0 only burning around 13litre/100km. The engine is working too hard to push an EMPTY truck. My older F150 had the 4.6 litre triton V8 in it.. just under 300 cu inches and it was working HARD to pull a heavy trailer... can't see the 3.7 even making it up the hill in North Bay from a red light at the McDonalds!
  3. Roger.. tell her to get out of the motorcycle isle!!! You don't want 4 stroke bike oil in your outboard. The stuff has gear box additive in it and you don't want that in our engine. Normal auto 10W40 is probably all you need for the 50HP at $4 a quart, when she turns around to face the far store wall.. That's all the marina puts in most outboards until they get higher up in horsepower.
  4. With or without the traction control turned off???
  5. DANG.. and all we needed was a a 52" catfish !!! Congrats guys!!!
  6. If I'm nice to it on the highway I can get it down to 11.7 litre/100 km Paul with cruise set at 112kph. General all around driving I'm averaging about 13.6 litre/100km. I'd just returned from Newmarket on cruise at 118kph when I encountered the ride check on the 400/93 ramp and the computer was showing 12.8
  7. If I wanna listen to "purring" exhaust I'll go fire up an old Mopar in the hangar! Millhouse.. be glad you bought the 5.0, as that "Econoboost" is NOT a phenomenal engine !
  8. THANKS Simon.... always enjoyable to watch the fun called "father and son" !
  9. Well I meet a cop at a ride check tonight that would totally disagree with that. While asking me if I'd been drinking he said to me "what engine do you have in this". I told him the 5.0 Coyote engine and he said "you're kidding me... No way.. 12.8 litres/100km!!". Shows how observant he was.. he'd already read my dash LCD! He said that "his piece of crap had the econoboost engine in it and he was averaging 18.1 litres/100km with it". I really made his afternoon when I told him I hadn't reset my computer since towing a trailer!!! How you can get quieter than the 5.0 in a 2011 is beyond me, I can't even hear it running half the time and think it has shut off.
  10. If it's in the grass.. it needs to be vacuumed up.. but if it's on pavement.. what Dan said!
  11. It's the home owner across the streets insurance companies responsibility.

  18. Great stuff Bruce.. now answer your friggin PM's !! LOL
  19. I'm gonna play the other side of this.. You bought a used boat PRIVATELY???.. took it to a dealer trying to get warrantee work and they told you that you weren't covered? It sat in their yard the entire time that you tried to straighten that out privately and then you came back in proving your were covered and then they did the work under warrantee? I'm surprised they didn't add storage to your bill as well. As for the friction lock... were you SPECIFIC at what you wanted installed? If so you have grounds to have the item they installed removed at their cost, not yours. If you just said you wanted a friction lock, they probably tried to sell you the cheapest thing they had in stock (or maybe the most expensive - I don't know the shop). As for it not working properly or clearing items.. that is THEIR issue to fix. The top... an act of god my friend, absolutely not their responsibility. Not sure why your top ripped. GBFisher's as well as my own Lund have been out in some pretty nasty snow coverings, GB's especially, and our tops are still going strong after many years.
  20. We got married in North York City Hall and I went to work for 3pm that day (Wednesday)!! LOL.. we've been a "couple" for 33 years now. Met her on a bus trip to Washington D.C. in high school.
