  1. Depends on the boat and what the weather allows you to do. Many a fish have been caught in front of the first cement factory as soon as you start out of Picton. You can then continue on towards Hay bay and go "up" towards Deseronto or you can bear right and go down the straight beyond the ferry and use 2 lines per person down there. Some years we've been all the way down to the gap that goes out into Lake Ontario to get on fish... but not in recent years. Late fall they are usually well up to the ferry or close.
  2. Rooms are booked WAY in advance at PHInn.. Lloyd booked ours back in August. If you're wanting to stay there I'd get on the phone...
  3. PFF.. myth busters. They also claimed that you can't chain a police car to a light standard and pull it's rear axle out from under it. I personally know that one is obtainable when you pick on an LTD...
  4. Oh definitely Rob... just pointing out a narrative mistake in the video. Two vehicles at 120mph would make more mess ! My old (dead) buddy didn't move the bridge abutment either... but we did get to salvage his Dana 60 locker rear differential.
  5. Though it does simulate pretty well one of my old teenhood friends hitting a bridge abutment @ somewhere beyond 150 MPH in his 'Cuda though.
  6. COOOL !! Oh.. and remember, if you are gonna head on someone be sure to accelerate so you become the cement wall ! ...and the error in the video. That is not the same as two vehicles doing 120mph hitting head on.. that simulates two vehicles doing 60 mph hitting head on.
  7. Thanks for that wonderful fish porn !
  8. Frustrating.. but I do know of a couple boats that were doing double time with multiply double headers on Sat and Sunday.
  9. Jesus.. the PHI is going to hell in a hand basket !
  10. HAHA Bunk... you should know, you've been there to witness it !
  11. So sorry to hear my friend. Of all the things in the world that you think can take a person down and something that was supposed to protect does the opposite. God Speed to your father and all the best to you and yours as you work your way thru this.
  12. Somewhere in the Ottertooth forum there is a thread on how to build one... and if you can't find it I'm sure a simple post as above will have the canoe lads typing (for something to do post season if nothing else).
  13. That's a 50" musky by the way... ..what did you see out in the Bay Don?
  14. Daed fish in GBay... just part of the cycle.
  15. Jen's blog post from last Tuesday the 18th. Some of it sure makes you think..
  16. Very NICE ! Not Tybo drooling, the fishing adventure!
  17. Pretty sure that's actually the stage at Fanny's in North Bay... next stop Sudbury !
  18. I've asked him... but he's back on his "week" on duty at the firehall and they don't come home at all.
  19. What every you do.. don't follow the advice of some here and put it on a selector valve. The last thing you want to do if rough seas.. or anytime for that matter.. is to have to shut one engine off, then select the fuel valve to the other port and fire up the other outboard. There are also times when trolling/downrigging with the kicker that you'll need the big motor fired up to make a turn into/against the wind, having a selector valve negates that ability. I also NEVER shut one engine off before starting the other one. I can guarantee that if you do that you'll find you have dead batteries at the worst time and be dead in the water. As long as the kicker has a good squeeze bulb and the check valve is working in it, just tee the line to the main engine and enjoy the ability to fire up either motor at will without playing with fuel valves. The only thing you may want to add in this day of ethanol fuels is a water seperator. Buy one with one inlet and two outlets and hook to each motor.
  20. She slipped off the pole Joey !! Seriously, her shoulder popped out of joint a tad and was clicking... so I immobilized it so she couldn't fight back!
  21. What size skirt... I could probably get a bulk order in! (and THANKS!) In the first video I thought that the physiotherapist was saying size 2.. size 5. But it's 5 foot 2 and 5 foot 5. 3 inches difference when on the unattached leg.
  22. No... but I'll see what I can do.
  23. Sorry to hear the latest news Nancy and all the best. Here's something to help make you smile, sure has me beaming since receiving the links from Jen at midnight. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/KQ-GH-ty5sQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/hKRFnZP5L4c" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/baXkSyHf9Eg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qhQAnpXNk1E" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
