The engine popped/died crossing the airport fence and he grabbed as much altitude as he could. Whether it was with the hope to turn back to the airport (that we're generally trained NOT to do) or eject only the pilot can tell that tale and will in time. I'd originally thought it stalled and spiralled and may well have, I don't know the characteristics of a Tudor.... a Cessna would have dropped the outside wing in the turn (right) and rolled over opposite to what this Tudor did. Maybe he rolled to make sure the canapy cleared.

This morning was official declared ice out!

Temagami is open Paul!

No they both ejected, neither's chute actually opened fully. He was fortunate to hit the slope of the house roof, she got a tree.
-
I'm just hoping someone owes me a beer for showing a real ticket!!

Jennifer was the teams Public Relations Officer. Her chute did not open...

I know it's $880 for organizing a gathering of more than 5 people. My old car club buddies got nailed for it two Saturdays ago, for gathering at Walmart to go for a cruise with a dozen cars. Nobody even got out of their cars.. but they "gathered" at Walmart via social media posts. So call your friends if you want to go for a cruise.. yet they have no issues with these Birthday and appreciation drive bys!

What are you growing Terry?? Leah's garden, with us in limbo about being here or up North this Summer.
-
That would probably be my Cousins.. the Graham boys!! LOL
-
That was happening whether Ford announced anything or not. God help them all... we're staying home and don't need the 400/11 to get North!

So how are we going to launch or boats?

Georgina opening all of their launches, no stipulations other than social distancing and listening to their staff. -
Penetang and Midland launches still blocked off as of 20 minutes ago... I'm sure they'll stay that way until Marinas are given a green light to allow customers on their docks.

Bought at Sunnyside Marine (now Bay Port) in about 1987 and was our "required" gun for the 26' Tempest we had.
-
Yep.. and I also have an old metal flare gun that takes 4 gauge (26.5mm) shells.
-
They'll have to pry my 12 gauge flare gun from my cold dead hands!

Apparently the OPP boat guys are a tad out of shape. No clue Lew.. he's been getting threats from all angles, even been called a Nazi... -

Just talking to my Son across our fence and the OPP called him yesterday and gave him(Communication Director for the twsp) crap for the Victoria Harbour wharf being blocked with cement barriers and the fact they had to help lift the airplane crash victim over said barriers with the paramedics. It was the OPP that requested the barriers be put in place.... -
You don't think that you making a racist statement about a Dr or Engineer working in Toronto's Sunnybrook is going to get you called out? Seriously give your head a shake for that and also for being childish enough to bring this over to OFC. Like Cisco says, take a good look in the mirror and give it some thought....

Read it again! He DID NOT open marinas. He gave them the go ahead to work on seasonal occupants boats, get them out of the racks and tie them to a dock. They are NOT to go anywhere and the customers are NOT allowed on marina property.

Funny, I go to get the mail from the site box and the kids down at the 4 way stop have a table and cooler out at the end of their laneway with a giant WORMS sign on it !

I've never seen so many huge dew worms. Every clump of sod I was moving back to where it belonged on Monday, from that careless snow plow guy, had dozens and dozens in every clump.

Quebec has stated people can start going to their cottages North of Montreal starting May 4th, yet our local Health Board head is petitioning Ford to make it law Ontarians can't go to theirs! -
