  1. It got nuts.. I have some great video.. but not sure, I'll see if it uploads. All that matters is everything is still standing today. Hangar is off plumb by about 2" over 16' so I'll push it with the hoe again... stormoct232020 026.MOVstormoct232020 027.MOV
  2. I watched Marg Simpson go by and told Leah maybe it was time to stop cutting wood and call it a day, I was swimming in my clothes anyhow with the humandex. Just made it back to the house when the tunnel cloud went behind the hangar, then Armageddon started ! Lost track of how many times the power went in and out and lost our internet service for hours. Intense winds, rain, 1"+ hail stones and lightning bolts. Thor's arms must be sore...
  3. That is a crime as well.... you can't paint a plate. My buddy Tom got charged for that 30 years ago for repainting his letters Blue again on his front plate..
  4. Possibly, but nothing I've heard before. Even if it was, would your prefer paying 10 bucks or the $300+ fine for an unreadable plate.
  5. As I said, there is a series of letters that started the process change.. any plate forward of that is free to exchange if they peel. The new aluminum plates are junk.. even the $350 personal plates I paid for for my Bee. Those I'm told if they start to look scruffy I can have replaced for 10 bucks.
  6. Peeling plates are free to exchange. It started with a BE series and has gone exponential from there. Still no requirement to have a current annual sticker... enjoyed my free summer driving two classics!
  7. Nice.. beautiful temperature for doing this...
  8. Many cops are handing out tickets for these crap peeling plates.. I think it's $300+ for the unreadable plate yet everyone keeps driving around with them. Free to exchange.. IF you can get into a Service Ontario outlet. I guess right now you can claim "you tried a few weeks ago". Still don't need a current sticker!
  9. Trust me Cisco.. he's a master at carrying everything and the kitchen sink and always makes it home... but there was this one time at the gas station.. LOL
  10. Especially if they were female...
  11. NICE.. but that seat... no "buddy" rides there!
  12. So you shipping that down to Chris UPS or Fedex??
  13. You're talking McKeller correct.... Make sure you know where you are going... an easy lake to get lost on. I fly over it every trip North and South. Leah's video the other days shows it well. Other than that.. no fishing info, not a foot of shoreline without a house on it..
  14. Which model you want... ask @Terry .. LOL..
  15. If you have the appropriate tow vehicle.. go big or go home! My 2150 Baron is now, unbelievably, 13 years old. Doesn't leak a drop, still looks close to new. Can be a lot of boat for one guy to put on a trailer at a crappy launch though. Good launch easy pezzy.. Agreed value theft and liability is gonna cost you a grand a year.. Trolling 5/6MPH on the 275 burns about 0.6USGPH or 2.4 litres/hour and is much nicer than listening to the kicker scream to achieve Musky troll speed. So a 10 hour ''tour" and run in/out on GBay only uses about 30 or 35 litres. Now take that heavy boat for a long high power cruise and it can get expensive. WOT is 32USGPH/120 litresPH. Cruising the boat at it's sweet spot, around 32 MPH and 4200 RPM burns about 11USGPH/44litresPH.
  16. Renewal is currently exempt... another month or so and I can put my two old cars away and saved $240 driving them this year on expired stickers.. legally for the first time in 40 years!
  17. It's a mess.. my buddy Todd is bombing it. Pics from this morning of the Castle and Bobcat fires..
  18. This one Lew??? https://www.frenchriver.ca/p/waste-disposal ..or these?? http://www.westnipissing.ca/en/municipal-services-e/column-4/environmental-services/landfillhours-of-operation And I see they all charge tippage fees.
  19. Spouse hounds spouse to clean up.. Spouse borrows truck from buddy and finally cleans up the yard, heads to the dump on the weekend and finds the gate locked and then hits the nearest back road. Can't for the life of me figure out why Northern dumps are gated, when most have no "tippage" fees. Deal with it every frigg'n week here on our road and it's amazing how you can wrap a backhoe around a pickup while you wait for the cops.
  20. ..and I still stink from that whale oil.. Good thing I put your hooks in the drop box first or you'd never catch anything! LOL
  21. LOL.. I was actually in the shop and getting ready for a long cruise to mix some rear axle sure grip additive in. Weather man lied unfortunately...
  22. Absolute Bull Joe... I have it all on the camera hard drive! Well other than the S turn, wouldn't be the first fool to be pulled out of the swamp! LMAO Thanks Brian! Sorry I couldn't have you up to the house to play "cars", but as you know I have a wife that can catch the flu walking through an empty mall and we continue to be a "bubble" of two. Here's a teaser of what you missed and what I was doing while you were giving me money! LOL
  23. Well if the weather would cooperate I'd be back on my dock, maybe late next week. As by then I'll have not much choice as I left the power on and the fridge full of, now spoiled, food. Japper.. right out in front of Island 5.. right in the main boat channel.. there is a long oval hump that comes up to 12 FOW out of 80 FOW.. try there and if not there the green channel can off the SW end of their island. If not there.. try fishing off my dock!
  24. In all seriousness, it has become an invasive species smally lake, as you can catch them anywhere. But that said, the Pickeral are abundant despite what many think. Issue is, and what we have found in the winter, they have zero issue living in 70+ FOW or even deeper. I have numerous island neighbors that go out every night before dark and catch their limit on what ever rock pile they want to pull up on. I've watched it for 15+ years now and they still go out EVERY night so the fish are still there, as they (the neighbours) aren't getting any thinner! My best fish are right off the dock! 6 PM in JUNE... 4 hours before sunset. Some buddies I've had up, have caught on a red and white spoon at high noon.. in SIX feet of water in Tetapaga Inlet. Winter time we're hauling exploded fish after fish out of 75FOW while trying to catch a nice Laker. There is SOOOOO much structure on Lake Temagami, that all normal fishing ideas go right out the window... 320 feet deep HERE>.. and then 9 feet deep just 6 feet forward.
  25. Always a comedian in the crowd... yah yah yah.. 15 years ago, but nothing has changed!
