LOL.. I've done nothing illegal to be turned in for! Just following guidelines provided by the powers to be!.. and saving $240 while I'm at it. Looking like I'll get to do it again in March and then it will be 3 classics = $360 LOL Truck is also due Dec 31st... let it roll....

Yah that's close Lew, guess I'll have to dig out my icefishing box and see if I can get some pictures. They're not Bluefox, although I'm sure similar shape and colour would work as well.
-
FIrefox.... don't know for sure, pretty sure it's a trade name on the package. BLue/silver or Green / Silver. Swedish pimples work as well..
-
BTW.. Lexxington is having a heart attack just looking at the pictures! Georginaisle, email Adam and ask him what baits you should have for Ling. Not something we target in our group. We're after submarine Lakers for the most part...

More related to huge slush fields that for the past 10 years or so have been a yearly thing. Bad enough at 8AM in -32C. I'm fairly certain it would be a death sentence at night... That, and even if on the packed trail, and snow falling and a strong wind and it gets really easy to miss a trail marker and get turned around. Has even happened to us and can get a little dicy trying to find the shoreline to follow it, hopefully, home. I CAN NOT stress enough how important it is to carry a compass!

The new owners of Loon will take great care of you! BUT, I can't stress it enough to you, other than the packed trail to Loon's huts.. DO NOT even think about travelling on the lake at night. Blue coloured firefox spoon seems to be a treat for Pickeral..

age old discussion....Mercury vs Yamaha
irishfield replied to bigcreekdad's topic in General Discussion
Yamaha, Honda, Merc.. same yackidy yack as Ford, Dodge, GMC... Flawless... 13 years now. Nothing but the odd oil change, and have never even pulled the spark plugs.. -
I hear yah Lew! Nothing I hate worse than doing someone else's job! Bell's burial supervisor promised me this 650' of phone line would be buried "the Wednesday after the long weekend". Guess I should have asked which, but didn't think I needed to considering that was the Thursday before the Canada Day long weekend! This 650' of lightning attractant has been lying on the ground for a week short of 5 months and cost us an alarm system from Lightning pulses during a storm 2 months ago. Bell won't pay for that either.... why am I not surprised. Couldn't plow snow with it lying there, so took care of it myself with a makeshift burial tool today.

Yah never know.. Leah's old man left 3 weeks ago and her Sister is off on Friday.. Dumb as they are...

..and a laser printer...

Nobody is gonna like it, but surprised it's taken this long. I got pulled over with my fold a boat and 5Hp on a lake in Delta NY about 20 years back. I told the officer we didn't need registration numbers for anything under 10HP and he said "you put an electric trolling motor on a dock and I'll bust you down here"! Thankfully he was interested in the boat construction and let me go.. without asking for a fishing licence..... Some vinyl numbers and a sheet of paper from the laser printer...

Yep.. gotta be easier than laminated cards....

Rotate them and throw them back in.. see what tale Spring tells after a couple of runs.

No need to drive all the way to Costco up here, We use to be the most expensive gas this side of Ontario until CTC and Zehrs started a price war years back here in Midland. Regular 91.7 and I filled 10 cans with No Eth Premium at 111.6 yesterday.

Thanks for sharing that Albert ! Kinda brought a tear to me eye.. maybe it's the onions on supper...

Another bug splat on the leading edge...

NICE Lew. Don't let your guard down around them though, from a guy that's had Rabies shots twice in my life. Even at that, I admire them in the yard and leave them be.. unlike the coons and porcupines...
-
NICE NICE NICE.. I love flying out...
-
Just glad you're still yourself Phil ! LOL

No way if you make it a full year "exempt" that they can ask for last years sticker fee.. did you drive. I have years and years of sticker validation "requests" for my old cars. Nobody has ever said "pay up" for all those years when finally buying a sticker. First time ever I've been legal driving with expired stickers! Company truck is due December.. no plan to renew it either. Old cars are due again in March.. will see were we're at, but doubtful I'll be buying. Leah's car is due in January.. not gonna happen..

Why spend $120 when you don't have too??? 3 cases of good beer Glen...
-
Oh but Joe.. "it's not happening to anyone I know". Locked down here since March.. protecting my honey. Even our own kids don't come in the house, as they are both essential workers. One is running a township and the other designing all the new long term homes. Can't imagine what we'd be going though if #3 was still with us..

Looking for opinions from actual fisherman, not store reviews.

Tie a rope to the kid... dismiss the na sayers. My Son at Kelso in Milton, late 1984. Wife pregnant with Jen at the time. -
I run 3' floro leaders on GBay, but we still unfortunately loose the odd $100 bait while running 100lb PP or Spiderwire. Might be time to add 30' of floro.. but the baits won't run the same..

I look for a log...
