That's 27 that we know of and not all of the 140 boats would be fishing one lake. There just needs to be more care with the optics in the community; the last thing outdoors people need is to be scrutinized about killing and wasting fish. Yes, this tournament has been around a long time, but I never remember this many fish dying in the old days. I did enjoy a relatively quiet weekend on the water with everyone on Sturgeon.

It just doesn't make sense to continue with a walleye tourney when there are warm weather issues. The last thing we need are walleye dying in live wells.

I have talked to a few guys and they still think you are permitted twice the catch limit for you possession. Best, to learn the regs and fish within the law and then there is no problem. Think conservation ethics before belly!

Caught the sunfish trolling for walleye.

This is one of the walleyes that I have tangled with and one of the better sunfish that I tied into this spring. Those are size 11 shoes. I hate posting pictures on this site. Obviously it wouldn't let me put the sunfish up.

People are making millions off of that speculation, so I'm sure they won't let go anytime soon.

We have a lot of drivers that just pull out into traffic and expect people to stop (me first attitude). Many are seniors (yikes, I'm getting close), but that's not exclusive. Some days I just feel like not braking. Then I tell myself to just breathe and take a pill if that's the only thing I have to complain about.

Now that you mention it. :-( People are way too anal about their lawns. Maybe the same ones with the loud boats!

I would say a Kawartha walleye that long would be about 6 lbs.

The leaf blower showed up in my lakefront neighbourhood this weekend. New people moved in a week ago and low and behold. I'm more interested to see how my noisy next door neighbours are going to deal with some competition. LOL

Well, my pockets are only so deep and this government can't even tackle the provincial issues. The liberals might be working for the liberal good, not sure about everyone else. My family does it's part, but I might look into the barbwire. See how I added a fishing term into the first line.

Whether global warming/ climate change is real or not, the Liberals are using it as an excuse to pull more dollars out of my already holey pockets.

Just putting a dent in the Trent River Pike population while waiting for walleye to open. These things are tasty at this time of the year. Our group caught over 40 pike in a few days. Kept some for eating, but let the smaller ones go back.

What's the question? I would love to see some of the answers from our fellow OFCers. We have all the answers, didn't you know. LOL Of course you knew!
