  1. In retrospect I think you're probably right.
  2. How ironic. I think you'd best edit the title of your post if you're worried about grammar.
  3. Just thought I'd share this incredible catch. The other day while throwing hardware for steelhead in the lower end of a favoured trib I caught the angling equivolent of a pink unicorn. Yeah I've caught the odd pike before while steelheading but nothing quite this large. 40" on the tape and pretty thick overall. She completely engulfed my Griffon (small bass crankbait) as I reeled it slowly through the tailout of a huge pool. Luckily she wasn't injured, was quickly unhooked, and after a couple of pic's swam away strongly. Pretty cool eh? Bloody awful pic's unfortunately, but I was alone at the time.
  4. Nice shootin' boys. And let this be a lesson to everyone. When BillM says "save your gas money" that means it's game on LOL!
  5. Very nice fish Khalid! (Or based on the title of your post is it Borat?)
  6. That's a really great pic Mike got of Chris's fish in the air! Great stuff. The weather gods can be fickle for sure, seems you were just a tad too early. Glad to see you boys had a good time regardless!
  7. Wow Doug that's bloody awful. My sincerest condolences. If you'd like to get out fishing in the next little while and maybe go over that map just let me know.
  8. Very sorry to have to read this Brian, you did the right thing though. Sincerest condolences.
  9. I was thinking, man most of these handle designs looks awefully familiar LOL! Pretty soon everyone on the river with a custom rod will have identical rods. Stop copying me people!!!!
  10. We did the same run last Sunday with pretty much the same results. Fished north today and my 5 year old boy caught his first steelhead. Banner day all around.
  11. Had a fantastic day today, crushed 'em. The weekend will be even better.
  12. Billy, what is this? You know damn well the fishing will be great this weekend LOL!
  13. Seriously nice photos Drew, thanks!
  14. Nope didn't see the ad, just an educated guess.
  15. That's more or less identical to the cart I lent Brad. The MEC Expedition cart is way sturdier. In any case carts are great as long as you're using them on a groomed atv trail, bush road or something similar. They're not meant to be used on portage trails. If you try you'll regret it.
  16. In these types of situations simply ask yourself "what would Mike Holmes do?" Bingo. Raze the entire house to the ground and start from scratch. Better safe than sorry.
  17. A long time coming, but well worth the wait Brad! For the person who asked I purchased the cart from Cabelas. Best commercially available one I've seen is the Expedition cart sold by MEC.
  18. Good stuff buddy, looking forward to seeing you.
  19. Nope, his salary still counts against the cap whether injured or playing.
  20. Nice spin Paul, but it's still 4.5mil for 2 years against the cap for what? I disliked him in Buffalo and was appalled when Burke signed him. And no I don't believe he's currently any better than Bozak. If Connolly was the best option available to Burke last summer he should have passed. Here's hoping Lombardi stays healthy.
  21. Beautiful camp, gorgeous sandy beach, great scenery. Fishing is okay on Anjigami but not what I'd consider great. There's a fair number of private camps on the lake. Their fly out lakes are not surprisingly very good.
