Yea a few weeks ago I predicted gas would go up before May long weekend. It went up 21 cents on 3 occasions. The last was a 2 cent increase Thursday before the long weekend. It hasn't changed and were paying 121 at this point. by the way I have already stated that I was boycotting Petrocan. Its been 2 weeks now and still going. I do believe if we hurt a gas station something would happen, Gas War or News that Politicians may have to React. By the way, I really hate people that give up without trying. So lets Boycott the only people that have something to lose are the PetroCan Gas carrying customers

Sounds like you're looking for adventure. Join the Canadian Military. Try it, if you have a degree, go Officer. Whats a few years of your Life. There is no age restriction and if you don't like it there are ways of getting out before your first contract ends. Military don't want people that don't want to be there. You can try it or you can kick yourself later in years for not trying. Your boss will be that grizzled experienced Snr NCO or Officer. Wow I guess I was wrong! Gas went up 3 times since I started this thread, not two as I predicted. Today I woke up and found it went up from a cent to two cents. Broke the all time Sask record to 1.22. Theres no stopping the increases now. Looks like I wont be fishing this weeknd. Well as predicted our Gas jumped another (4 cents a record breaking 1.21) this morning in time for the long weeknd. I love it, No Katrina, No New middle East Conflict, but fairley stable world gas prices. I guess the other Oil Companies got to keep up with the 34% profit so far. Wait till KYOTA or something similiar kicks in. Hows things in Ontario?

I did the same. CT has a four tester that plugs in which also acts as a key chain. Really handy. I also found out it was a fuse. The Ford Ranger has a fuse for each light indication. Before testing I changed bulbs and harnesses . Just a simple fuse in a complicated manual

Also, I live day to day. I quit smoking 2 years ago in the hopes to add a few dollars so I can take my 14 ft aluminum and 10 hp second hand outfit to go fishing a couple times a year. I can barely afford the boat launch. My point here is since when in the History of Oil prices has gas gone up between 5 cents and 10 cents at a time. The world Market is between low sixties and high seventies. Katrina started an epidemic where the rich slobbering oil companies started the Phenomenal gas gouging. Even the smell of a minor storm sends prices souring. I'm a former soldier and " YOU CANT OR IT WONT WORK WITHOUT TRYING IS NOT in my vocabulary. Since when can a government cant control their own resources. For starters you tax the Companies higher as they take our resources. Maybe you can ease the price at the pumps. I think with a minority Government if people Boycott they will listen or get the heave ho out. Remember the Joe Clark affair when he wanted to raise the price of gas to pay at the pumps instead of the tax. The so called 18 cent increase. A minority Conservative government got tossed out. Also if truckers went on strike do you think that the government would allow the country to be crippled. Thanks to this Global warming crap the Finance Idiot announced it would raise gas to 150 a litre. 2 weeks ago our gas went up from 103 to 113. Apparently so did yours. I predicted ours would go up twice to Rip us for the May long Weekend. Move number one happened this morning in Regina and Saskatoon. A jump of six cents. Soon the whole province will be Paying $120. This is insanity and thievery. Before the latest jump on the news some consumer advocate figures that we are all paying at least an extra 20 cents for no reason. The Katrina tragedy has started a unprecedent trend of gouging. The governments are making no moves while the oil Companies are enjoying huge profits like never before. No body wants to do nothing so prices keep going up. I say that we just stop buying gas from a company every 2 weeks. One day wont hurt them but give it a couple of weeks. Something has to be done. Oh yea, Ontario wait for it. Its coming

Good Question, For example I followed a stream from a public Road where there was no fence or posted signs. It was a km from any house. It could of been somebodys property. Who doesnt own something these days. Anyways this guy must of cut through the woods and followed me a km or so. ( seen his footprints after I backtracked) and told me that he was worried that his dog would eat mine. I I asked him if I could fish but he said that there was better fishing at his neighbors property. I was in the bush and following a stream. Do I have the right. There were no signs posted. But this stream meandered 400 meters behind buddies house. He followed me from the road and the stream took a turn that carried on 400 meters behind his house.

Prediction.. Sundin, Koivu, Nasland spending the time watching the cup on TV Basking in the Nordic sun. Next Alfedson. If there is any rough stuff, which there could be with Buffalo. I figure he will do a dissipearing act like the Sedin brothers. But you never know, he could make Bettman proud by being the only non North American Captain to hold the Cup. But I doubt it. Terry, Although I'm totally against changing the Idea of Canada day I do love your initiative. I got to thinking though. It is kinda related to fishing and the outdoors. Its the gas gouging that really makes my stomach turn. Our prices just jumped to a 1.13. Fantastic marketing scheme because my feeling is it will jump again for sure once and maybe twice before I and most others start the fishing season for the long weekend. I would sign a petition, I would boycott any gas station at least a week at atime where it really hurts. Start with one that will likely start a gas war. OFC might have a lot of clout, maybe newsworthy. As far as myself, I would try to follow through on the Saskatchewan side. I know some readers will say it wont work, but we have a minority government that wont listen to the consumers. YET. Somethings got to be done. Why not put the effort where we are being blatantly cheated.
