I own a 99 ford Ranger and found that the problem with my trailer running lights are due to the vehicle. The left and right trailer turn signals work but not the running lights. I changed the harness that connects from the truck proper to the trailer connector. Still no power for the trailer Running lights. The wires and connectors look good. Could it be a fuse or relay. On my manual there are separate fuses for left and right tow turn signals and a fuse that is labelled Park Lamp/Trailer tow relay, Could that be the reason?

Op Cavalier-Royal Canadian Dragoons Battle Group in Visoko Bosnia was one of my tours in the former Yugoslavia from Oct 94 to May 95. In fact, as Combat Engineers we supported those two Hospitals. One of our Engineers, Warrant Officer Dave Bromell received the Commanders Commendation for his Humanitarian Work at the Hospitals. Just a note, when it was fashionable to dis the Military, supposedly, the Vandoos had raped several of the Nurses before our tour. Of course it was unfounded and as you read, totally the Opposite. But of course the public believed in the Lies. Our Section would go to the hospitals and it was true we would cut wood, in fact we repaired broken windows and doors. Very rarely would we actually go inside the Hospital. As far as the Children's Hospital, we had heard rumours of a little girl that was nick named the Chernobyl Kid. It was because of her hideous deformity. I seen her once and that was Christmas Day. Dave (Warrant Bromell) Invited myself and 2 others from our section to give out toys to the kids of which I looked forward in doing. Its a day that I will never forget. First of all it stunk bad once we went inside. Of course I had to see this so called Chernobyl kid and Honestly I never seen anything so hideous in my life that was living. Dave Showed me into this one room where I saw in a crib, a little girl, only because she had a housecoat. Dave picked her up and hugged her but all I could see was her one eye and her Huge head, and nothing was in proportion. But that didn't matter to Dave. The nurse gave us toys and Dave told me to go in another room and give out toys to the kids. I enjoyed giving out the toys to the first couple of kids but needed help from the nurse and of course she spoke no English. Reason being is that I gave a windup doll to a child that had no use of his arms. I ended up hating the whole Ordeal. On the other hand the adult Mental hospital was quite amusing. We would meet many patients while we chopped wood outside. Sometimes they would be a pain as they would come quite close. We had nicknames for most of them. There was this one guy that would run around and scream at every one- He was the Sergeant Major (Willy). This other Guy would always be picking up our butts and trying to bum smokes. He was like our Sgt, so we called him the Sgt. In fact we met this one patient that spoke perfect English and said that he was Canadian and had lived in Toronto at one time. He claimed that he was in the Mental hospital because it was safe from the war and he got fed. I always wondered about him. Where we chopped wood above us there was a window with bars, and always this huge person of a man would be staring at us. We found out later that he was a murderer in the Croatian Army. The Croatians themselves locked him up. He was nicknamed from the staff THE HAMMER. Apparently he had gotten out of his room and killed a nurse with a hammer. I think we got out of hand when we played Its Hammer Time on the Radio dancing and mocking him. He seemed to enjoy that though. While on an Earlier Tour in 92 when the war was peeking, a United Nations RCMP Officer (UN CIV POL) came to us and told us this story of his interpreter whos father was a Canadain Engineer Soldier who stayed in Yugoslavia to fight the Germans and never returned to Canada. Our RSM got hold of the Canadian Legion and to this Serbs surprise presented him his medals at our camp with a parade after 50 years. If your interested I will show some photos

Lake Memphremagog Quebec (wrong spelling) I'm a warm water fisherman, love bass at night. But at my buddies turf, he caught 3 Rainbows, 1 Brown off his dock, and me a bite and a fight and lost. Figure it was a Rainbow. Bottom line he was my Guide, he was surprised, his Dad figured it was luck(Vet) and my buddy figured it was the bait Grubs. What I think now. Luck, We were at the right palace at the right time.

When I was in Edmonton a couple of years ago I deeked into the REEL DR (a popular fishing reel repair centre) and asked the repair man a few questions about reels. He stated that he found that the most reliable reel was a Quantum Energy. Also a reel that he had the fewest repairs. He also told me that more bearings doesn't necessarily give you better quality. Personally I never used a quantum, But my Shimanoo spirex and symetry have never let me down. I love the Idea that they don't use any springs on their trigger bail.

OK I really gots to say something, ( Barely passed high school) in opposition to the Alarmists that have already convinced some or most people that the world will come to an end so to speak. First of all when people start panicking they do one of two things. Freeze like a deer caught in the headlights or run in the wrong direction like a chicken with their head cut off. As much as I love Political Activists,(Ya as far as I'm concerned, get a job or if your really concerned join the military as they are at least trying to make a better world). I really feel, that it might be too late. Talking to my daughter (High School) I asked her Opinion on global warming. Basically her opinion is what she seen on the Al Gore film that her class had to see in school. Wow, we're going to have to put up with another generation of tree huggers. So far activists have convinced the majority, that nuclear energy is unsafe when in fact without the Russian tragedy, there has never been a death or accident from nuc power. Its clean and cheap and ours. As far as they're concerned, we should have wind mills and solar panels all over the place. Yea and even in our forests and lakes. No hunting or fishing, and eat lettuce. Ride bicycles, build houses of straw and write on slate, no military for security, but go on UN missions and watch people get killed and massacred, because we are not supposed to show any aggression. They've disrupted a peoples way of living in Newfoundland and the North. Now they don't want poor countries to use their resources, lumber, coal, oil. People (ya us) should mind their OWN business before putting demands on other peoples. So where does that leave me. First of all, I don't panic. Call me selfish, but life is good now. I did my job to help man kind ( I'm a do-er) 4 x 6 month tours lifting land mines on their INVITATION or Help. Winnipeg floods, Eastern Canada ice storm etc. I don't need to dress in green hair and dress as a wind mill smoking dope skipping school, job, or not looking for a job collecting social assistance. I like our present government, haven't done nothing wrong yet! But there is an Opposition Idiot that may force him to do something stupid and expensive. It really bugs me that there are two sides of things and we get plastered with what is fashionable or politically correct, sometimes we may be wrong. Bottom line stop panicking otherwise it will be very expensive. And if people are going to publicly use statistics and Grade 3 bar graphs, how about linking us with your references. That way some of us so called skeptical people like me can see the source of your information

And personally, I do not want to pay more for Transportation, Heating, Refridgeration, etc. And I don't want my taxes being given away to other Countries, Rich Companys, and more grants to fund studys. Oh yea, lets be the world example when no matter what we do, it will NOT make a difference. As far as the peaceniks are concerned, find some thing else to cry about. We should be able to see the other side of things. For example Scientific study and not Academy documentrys that is now being shown to everyschool in America based on Theory. No wonder David Susuki and Al Gore are like rockstars to the tree huggers. Prices here in North Battleford still stable at 93. It Makes me sick to my stomach on the way they're ( Gas Companys, Pump Owners, and Spineless, Yellow bellied, Blind Government) are taking advantage. Yea its got to be because of March Break for this excuse. Watch as March Break ends and gas goes down. But it won't be much, as it gets higher for Victoria day. Even higher Canada Day, but by then some other excuse will bring prices up. Yea because Iran farted. I really dont understand why prices are stable here, Then again the prices never changed when gas went down 4-5 dollars a barrel.

Keep it up. 2.5 years for me. This is my real second attempt. First one lasted seven months, actually I did a full six months in Bosnia and not even a drag. Got back to Canada went on Excercise, got bored, so I asked for a puff as my driver was smoking. GAME OVER. This time I learned from my mistake. My wife has quit at the same time and her motivation is saving money. Mine was health, especially after a few bubblys. Felt like Sh@#@# the next morning, especially my lungs. Just a note. The old Cancerous lung in the case never worked for me when I was in school, but ironically,when I was being wheeled into the operating room for screws in my ankle, I noticed on the upper wall an anti-smoking poster that I will never forget. A colored picture of an ashtray shaped like a pair of lungs with butts and ashes in it. For some reason I can't forget about it. Never seen that poster since. Maybe too explicit. Anyhow good luck. Check the CAA and Consumer Reports. Everthing Item has the highest rating. My 99 Civic that I bought second hand last year is running excellent. I drove cross Canada and put 24,000 Kms in a year. Starts no problems in the saskatchewan cold. If she can afford new, the only other comparisons might be a Corolla or Mazda

Hey TG, I know a little spot on the petawawa river. Kind of borders the base and the park. Helicopters patrol there and the conservation officers. But doesnt worry me on which side Im on as I would be in compliance. It sounds that there is a flury of activity but its really remote. I know a hole for Huge musky but have not caught it yet. Bull Bull and more of it. Ontario gas prices are bouncing like a yo, yo, in the last 2 years. Totally out of Control. Dont tell me there is not greed, Lack of Control, and purposely using any excuse to raise prices. Only recently, long weeknds, storms, (a fire) has bounced prices beyond any reason. The supply and demand theory is lame. Government must control this, but they are afraid. Lets hear more excuses. You really believe this is all legit. Remember the ice storm, some companys, including Canadian Tires in Quebec Upped their Naptha prices spongeing on a dire situation for their own pockets. You dont think the oil companys to the gas station manager will sell theyre mother to fill their pockets. Here in the oil Patch, Cops, Politicians, you name it, leave the companys alone. They reek of money and power. Biggest blizzard in Sk for this generation did not stop the ploughs from cleaning oil leases and roads getting to them.
