Noticed last nite that my charger was orange blinking from 2, 10amp and automatic. Usually when its fully charged the light continually stays on the green charged light. Well I switched batteries and same thing this morning. Both Batteries just needed a trickle charge and one is new. So I'm suspecting a problem with the charger or this is an indication that they are charged. Any Ideas.

I think that when I go out and fish its of form of Recreation, like camping, hiking. No teams involved, no competitors involved. Me and nature and the elements, and of course I pick when and where. Now your Bass pro competitions, then I have to admit by my own words a sport. You have competitors, rules, trophies, no matter the elements you battle. Is my ole lady an athelete when she fishes. Nope.

Oh Great, now we're going to have a rash of idiots driving without their headlights Terrorizing people, to make them feel like a bigshot. Just like your Gangsta wannabees thinking they live in NY or LA. Watch the Copycat thing.

Ill trade Latendresse, La Pierre, Pletanic, Brisbois ( AKA Brokenwood), Both Kosteatsyns, Koivu, Hamerlik, Streit, Dandenault for Tucker. Out with the Wimps, in with some Toughness. Habs couldnt beat themselves out of a wet paperbag. Oh dont get your Panties in an uproar because they are in second place, the word is out that they hide when checked or threatened.

For me it would be this small old American called Peanut. My Dad inherited an old trailer on Lake Champlain Vermont in which he left us Kids and mom for the whole summer while he came up on the weekends from Mtl. I guess to get rid of me he told to go to Peanuts Wharf and fish. Believe it or not he gave me a leaf to use for bait. Two days straight I dangled this leaf in front of 2 Rock Bass under the dock. I guess old peanut felt sorry for me and told me to use a worm. Presto two Rock bass which I saved for three days to show my Dad. Boy did they smell. Anyways old Peanuts would take me out fishing in the Boat, help me with my line, gave me lures and so on. He was like a friend to a eight year old. I loved his stories and used to wait for him every time he went out fishing. Id be there always when he cleaned his fish, buckets of perch back then. He was a Prince of a man, who would take the time for a poor kid. He knew everything, if we didnt know an insect old Peanuts knew. I always think of him even though he must of passed on over 35 yrs ago.

I always liked the old Volvo Commercials doing the Safety crash tests. And the closing Statement would be. WE LEARN FROM DUMMIES! probably not so politically correct now a days.

yup, interesting interview With Theo Fleury on the Radio here as he was visiting a small Prairie town. Apparently he is a successful Businessman who he owes his success from the Experiences that hockey gave him. When I heard his stats I was amazed at his hockey accomplishments. A warrior indeed with rings including Stanley Cup, Juniors ( he was initially involved in the Famous Russia/ Canada Brawl World Juniors) etc, six Rings in total. An all star many times. Possibly Hall of fame but I doubt it considering his bad Boy image. Whats the most amazing thing is he was only 5'6. He opened doors for small players like Martin St Louis

Click Click Click, This is really amusing. I don't know anybody from a hole in the ground, although Roy has moderated me a few times, even Gag ordered, But at Least the Last Time he had the decency to give me a good PM when a Wuss( no names-no pack drill) called me a name but cowardly never answered my Pm after it got locked. As long as I have lived, kids for all kinds of Organizations went door to door or stood at key locations to bring in money that public funds wont pay. You name it, from hockey excursions to boy scouts and girl guide cookies. But call it Panhandling, I think not. I thought Roy was going to talk about Squeegee kids or some young guy with 2 legs and 2 arms asking for money. Loved it two weeks ago when I went to the Liquor store and two Losers asked me for Money. I unloaded on them like a Drill Sgt and told them that I worked hard for my money and I wasn't giving any to anybody especially them. That's a Panhandler. But Kids, I'm not sorry by saying that I don't agree with Roy or others on his original thread. I agree with what Kirk has said, including the St Roy comment, because it sure looks like it. Just say no to the kids, give out Mcdonalds applications to the lazy non disabled, or unload on the Welfare Bums that hang out near the liquor store. I hope this thread never ends because, really, its amusing. I really like the Mcdonalds applications. Good one. Can anybody tell me how to get rid of the telemarketers because I dont have time to individually go through Cyber space to cancel, especially if I keep getting new ones.

A farmer friend of mine was telling me about how his disability was cut off from his insurance. I asked him how is that. He stated that he had to go to his insurance agents doctor, who of course told him he was able to work because he found no problems with his back despite the pain. Anyways he decides to go to welfare in order to feed his family till he sort things out, but found that he had to complete a four page document. Basically he was told to sell his extra truck, sell his tractor, sell his pigs in the mean time this PERSON walks in and demands social assistance and starts filling a one page document and was told check is in the mail. Now what I know of this farmer is he works with me, but lives forty Kms out, works 12 hours a day for next to nothing. He never did get assistance however his beef was how a habitual welfare recipient who already gets government handouts, IE no tax, free house, cheap cigarettes has no problems or delays getting his claim. I always thought that social assistance was for the person that cannot work due to sickness, injury, and no work in an area with high unemployment. Lets see, I got a brother who's never paid taxes but collects, a sister that popped a kid at 17 and collected and that's just the tip of the ice burg. My old man who was a letter carrier had a lot of stories of these guys waiting for their check in the mean time they are living a comfortable life. I guess he was jealous -
I know we used to catch Walleye in Rolphton ( might be wrong spelling) in spring and summer below the Dam. I actually caught a tagged 2000 Millenium fish winning 2000 dollars. I am not sure if the water is open or not and if there is successful ice fishing in the winter. Id be curious to Know. Its not too far from Mattawa

You are so Wrong, the Bombing you speak of was NATO in Nature. It stopped the war. It is at relative peace now. It was the Yugoslavians themselves that decided to tear their country apart. It was they themselves that decided to destroy Vukavar and Sarajevo. Sure the UN prolonged the war. But it was the UN that stopped the Genocide for the most part. As far as the US, they became involved way late in the Civil War when they sent some troops in Macedonia where there was peace but the pot was about to explode. I would know, I spent 2 years of my life in most parts of the country. As far as I'm concerned, those people should be ashamed that they call themselves Europeans and even humans for that matter. That was the most Barbaric war since the World Wars.

Yup its our iinterest to help a country in need. Its our iinterest to do our part within an alliance. Its our interest to do a duty that the people of Canada ask of us, through our leader. Its our interest to stop, cutoff, or impede a fanatics need to kill people in the most cowardly way through explosives, bombing, beheading while tied up. Ill even go out on a limb here. All though Afghanistan has nothing to do with oil, lets just say it was, It would be our Interestto fight for oil if our so called friendly OPEC nations decided to choke us to punish us because they Don't Like us. But that's another story. Its your interest POACHERS PARADISE, to support the War and your Troops. Lets just say Canada got Invaded, it would be NATOS Interest to help us out. You may not like the word War, but you have to fight aggression with aggression. I support this war, like any other war Canada was involved. Would you believe that we have a province where 95% of the population did not support the two World Wars. Yea just think, lets say we are successful in Afghanistan, we would have another GREAT FRIEND. Sometimes when you want to hide behind your Flag, you have to sacrifice. Sorry Lorrissa, however I hate when people who have no clue whats going on, decide they are going to make a statement that smells derogatory

Give Fred Helmer a call. He'd be in Vedder crossing, close to Chiliwack. If your lucky, he can get you onto Salmon or Steel head on the Vedder, Dolly Varden in Chilliwack Lake. Sturgeon on the Fraser, and Cutthroat on just about anybody of water. Best thing, its all within an hour of his shop, Helmers Tackle shop.

Hopefully your son will be working in the Canadian Area of responsibility. If he is, and hopefully he is, I can Guarantee he and the other NATO troops will be in good hands. The Canadians are true professionals and treat other soldiers as their own. Once in Theatre he would be getting the best possible Information and training available. This Operation is going to go on for years, unless we do the cowardly thing and loose all trust and pull out. Your son, would never say no to his mission, as his uniform as ours, Carry's something that only a soldier would know. Its called Loyalty and Duty. I wish him luck and courage, and yourself, a sense of pride for him and others. Hope his tour goes fast for him and his family. Thanks. As for me Im in the process of returning to the forces from retirement (1.5 years) and joining the closest Reserve unit which will probably Infantry with the North Saskatchewan Regiment. I feel I can also help despite my age.

Hey lets look at the positive side. He lost his sled. We saved a few tax dollars as he made it out. OPP divers will have supper with their families, and, now he can get a handicapped sign as he has proven that he is mentally disabled.

Yup that's a good pick. Hyundai and Kia are ranked behind Toyota and Civic only because of reputation. If there is negativity, its from the magazines with all the domestic advertisements. By the way I bought a new Pony in 87 and the warranty lasted as long as my payments. That was a no Brainer for me and my young family living day by day. Only thing missing is your canoe on top.
