They kind off reminded me of what I see when watching Mtl Games. Only one guy will play physical, When they do attempt to hit they will turn their body and use they're rear (afraid of being hurt I guess). And when crossing the blue line the third forward seems to be missing. The Swedes seemed to play around the goalie crease unopposed. And way too many penalty calls. Yup the Swedes outplayed them in the end. It was the typical European, All-star, Haley W, mens league game. Maybe they will play our game when they play the USA. Gad I hate European Hockey.

All that crap, of kicking, biting, pinching, crying, diving,cowarding, using your stick, mouthing off when the ref is in between, has all been imported. Kind of spreading like a disease. Kind of like watching the academy performances of the soccer players not too long ago. Yea and I like Cherry also and I agree on a lot of things that he has said in the past. Says it like it is, even if he has to put up with the bull political correctness. And as far as Simon is concerned, never did hear him turn down a fight. I guess lately all he has to face are players that wont drop the gloves. Buy the way, his previous suspension was way more severe. All I can picture is Rutu squirming and barking like a seal on the ice. I shake my head on how the game has deteriorated.

Give me a break, change Hockey even more towards a shinny European type game because some coaches couldn't control eight year olds in one game. Change the Game because Simon went stupid with his skate. Probably Rutu was mouthing off and figured he'd get away with it. I'm glad that the bleeding hearts didnt change the game in the 70s when Chico Maki ruined Ted Greens Career by clubbing him over the head with his stick. I think Solo Paddler has a point. I know that if Simon would do something similar to Mtl, he would get away with it and the Islanders would walk all over the team. Why, because they have no Robinson, Ferguson, Nyland, Sourey, and so on to stick it back to Simon. Yea, lets change The Game so we all play like the Swedish League or watch a Shinny Game. I think Simon's Suspension was fair. That's a lot of coin its costing him. In the mean time Rutu and others IE Avery will keep mouthing off. I was bored this weekend as there was a Gag order on me so I decided to tinker around and Built this Portable Fire Pit made from a Washing Machine Barrel and its internal stand that only cost me three nuts and bolts. Use it without the stand and you can carry it in your trailer or trunk. The Rinse holes work great for heat and oxygenating the fire.

One last thing. We also went with the 5 year rates for a piece of mind. If we went yearly we would of saved thousands. But you never know what may happen to interest rates. Its killed people before here in Canada, and now look at some places in the states. Again Im not no Morgage specialist, but read up on it and get different opinions, not just your Banks. Of course we were never Millionaires either or borrowed or given money from family or friends. We had to dig deep. Good luck on your first house and pay for a home inspector no matter what your agent says because your still stuck with the morgage.

Yup shop around definately. Im no Morgage specialist but I did alot of Reading 12 years ago and went with this Attitude. Pay as Much as You Possibly can While you are Younger and Working. Ask my Wife, we lived day by day and suffered ie bought a Hyundai Pony instead of an SUV, a canoe for 20 years instead of a power boat, a snow shovel instead of a snowblower. But its all worth it as my house is payed off in 2 yearsfrom now. Im working where I want. I have a trailer 3 hours north, drive a power boat, and own a Ford Ranger truck. Only because I went with a 15 year Morgage instead of a 25 or 30 year. My only regret is that I never bought earlier in life. I would say buy now or you may end up like a lot of people (over Seas) buying hoping your Kids , Kids are going to finally own the house long after your worm food.

I lived in Wasaga Beach for a year before moving out West only because I was posted to Borden. Angus way too expensive. Barrie way too much like a city attracting its city garbage as its getting bigger by the minute. Wasaga Beach is beautiful in the winter but is little Toronto in the summer. Within a three hour drive radius its hard to find a lake that someone doesnt own a piece of shoreline (Cottage Country). For me Simcoe is too Big, and Georgion bay is also the same. But I did find a brookie stream that I never seen anybody venture too as few people know how to read a Topo Map and dont want to walk to far from the Car. But if I had to Pick between TO and Barrie. Barrie by far, but look who Im comparing it too.

I always grew up that it was better to give than receive. Christmas is the time for giving and feeling good. Yesterday just before heading off to work, I just randomly bought the Guy behind me a Tim Hortens in the Morning Rush. He thanked me and wished me a Merry Christmas. There was a young ( first Year) Players that was on the fourth line( at least what I remembered) Tucker was One. Stevenson was the other, who was the third. I still think back how they reminded me of the Hanson Brothers slap shot

You make a very good point. Sidney is a owners dream. But as a coach who would you pick for your Team. Sidney, Ovenckin, Vinney, Jerome. Phanuf, Alfredson, Koivu, Sundin, Jager, Lecalvier, or how about Tucker or Higgens ( Canadians Taste for the Week)

hey, my old man, (recently passed away) hated him, even called him a disease ( Kasparitis)because of the name. But I liked him when he took on Lindros, obviously one sided. But I have to give him some respect for his KOHONOS. By the way, I still havent seen the light and still think, that our Canadian Teams should Lose their European Captains.
