Let me guess, you either work for the oil Companies or invest in their stocks. PROFITS, that's after exploration or anything that the company says they pay for, this would probably include their projected salaries and what not. Get your head out of the sand and stop believing everthing that a company says. Its obvious, and now it has made the news, that these guys are making Billions at our expense. As far as refineries go, if its owned by Suncor, Husky or whoever, its made a profit. IF NOT IT WAS INCLUDED IN THEIR OVERALL PROFIT> . Doesn't take a highly educated or payed economist to figure that out. Now for the good news again. With everybody expecting prices to go up even further, we just gave the go ahead to the companies even more incentive to gouge. What a go. Just like Global Warming, how about food prices, mention increases. IT WILL HAPPEN. Mention controlling, gouging will be limited.

Record oil prices drive Shell 1Q profits up 25 percent By TOBY STERLING, AP Business Writer 44 minutes ago AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - Royal Dutch Shell PLC reported a 25 percent rise in first-quarter earnings on Tuesday, crediting strong increases in oil prices. Europe's largest oil company said its average selling price of crude oil leaped by 66 percent to more than $90 per barrel from the first quarter a year ago. That sent net profit soaring to a record $9.08 billion, up from $7.28 billion. Sales rose 55 percent to $114 billion. Analysts said the performance was impressive, especially because expectations were already high. Shell "delivered a very robust overall performance, with all the divisions outperforming the consensus and our estimates," wrote analyst Alexandre Weinberg of Petercam in a note on the earnings.

Your trying to get me in trouble again with Roy and his little boy Darsky. By the way I own a Toyota and married to an Arab, as a matter of fact born in Bagdad. Kind of makes my kids half breeds.

I seen a Car and Driver Show and even though I take things with a grain of salt as that show and mag make their money off of car manufacturers, one article seemed to make sense. They were testing a Kia van, and had alot of good things to say about it. What sticks to my mind is that the show recommended it over an SUV because it was alot cheaper, just as much room, if not more. Can tow just as well. What I would base my points would be, PRICE, FUEL ECONOMY, RELIABILITY, DO I NEED HIGH GROUND CLEARENCE, DO I NEED FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. For me Id choose a van. If not a cheap old used SUV for four wheeling. Otherwise 25k 40k SUV to pick up groceries is a waste of money in my little world.

Things people don't know about the highway traffic act
holdfast replied to fishing n autograph's topic in General Discussion
Those laws were put in place after alot of thought. No doubt statistics also back it up. As far as the 400 series Highways, I pooped my pants during a down pour when a trucker passed me and I was blind for a few long seconds. Sorry if you feel your Individual rights have been violated. Thats funny. -
Where did you hear they are not making money. Husky, Bonavista, BlackRock, Ish, Suncor, just to name a few are making tons of money. Its like telling me that the Banks arent making money. And anybody that drives a company truck has unlimited fuel to burn. Humm who pays for that.

So far he has been absolutely right in his predictions. He is predicting $1.50 this summer. So far it is now 129.9 since Monday. He has stated that the Companies are purposely cutting production to 80% to raise prices. Hey they've set us up all winter saying that they're raising prices. Its not even the long weekend in May yet. Its so Ironic since Im in oil country we are paying so much.

Yea but arent you ashamed how Lapoint elbowed Price and then pushed/punched a defenceman(not sure who) without getting molested. Thats not the Habs that I used to Idolize. If this keeps up I hope Price gets traded before he gets screwed. Bruins didnt hit so the Habs were all over them like mosquitos. Ill say it again. They need to trade half their Europeans ( that have Talent) and keep the odd token one, other wise they will end up like Ottawa. By the way, there was obviously something wrong with Chara, because that wasnt him playing. Well see how the Euros do when it gets rough.

Although Shimano is expensive, what I really liked about the Shimano is the Trigger Bail has no spring. Awesome invention

Nothing like being a Patriotic Canadian, to stir the pot and ruffle the feathers eh. I still think it would be a different team if they had Canadian players instead of the Europeans. Are europeans tough? Do they have grit, will they sacrifce the body, can they hit, can they take a hit, will they schrug an injury loose a tooth, or take a dive instead. As far as being a Habs fan, Im not happy with the way they have been drafting and trading. Lots of politics. They would rather get a European instead of an English Canadian if they cant find any Francos

I grew up enjoying the hits in hocky as well as the fights. Been in some myself. But for the animal lovers. Is it cruel because I enjoy the Rodeo. Or should I change because its now un Canadian.

Yup I agree with you Lew. For instance Winnipeg. People forget but there was a disaster in Manitoba when the Red River flooded again. It was truly the Red Sea if you seen it in a helicopter. We the Military drove from Petawawa to Winnipeg to give assistance. Just getting back from Iraq and Croatia war zones, I never, never will forget what I seen when we drove to the outskirts of Winnipeg. When you see a a set of Red Lights from a Fire truck Blocking the Highway, right beside a McDonald's that is flooded and nothing but ocean, it was unbelievable and like a War Zone. It was truly an experience that I will never, never forget. Parts of the City was abandoned and when we entered, the river was still Rising. We sandbagged beside civilians, moved civilians from their houses, and arrested civilians. What amazed me though was how everybody helped each other. The Red Cross was there giving out Coffee and Donuts to everybody that was Sandbagging. There were water pumps everywhere. What I found out was that a neighborhood would get volunteers to go to another neighborhood and look after the pumps. Never looking after their own neighborhood. Picture this, as far as you could see, there is a wall of sandbags. But in front of one house that wall, would be a weak spot because that neighbor didnt put any effort. I heard so many complaints how one neighbor would punish the neighbor who was the weak link to the wall. As an example we the Army ( and Civilians) was sand bagging in front of Apartments working our Aholes off while this Idiot was drinking beers making fun of us. Finally our Commander had enough of us guys telling him how we would hurt this guy unless we did something about it so we packed up and left. I always hoped to this day that the Neighbors that we were sandbagging with did their own justice. I believe they did. We found ticked off farmers, digging explosives into the Dikes, as payback because their homes were sacrificed to save the City. I also found out that the Rich and powerful were out for themselves as we sandbagged the more expensive houses (MPs and MLAs) while their neighbors were left to fend for themselves. What I realized is that the Cops, Fire Departments, Hydro workers ETC are human as we soldiers worked beside them and listened to how they were worried about their own families, but there was nothing they can do because they had a job to do.

Thats probably a negative Big Fella

I would say it was a Shimano AX ultra Lite reel that I bought a few years back. You would barely touch the drag adjustment and it went from free spool to sticking. My second would be my Spidercast reel. The line would actually make groove just above the roller on the plastic or Graphite Bail housing whatever they call it.

Storm Coming. Was at my trailer in Big River but decided to head her back today vice tomorrow. Looks like this is going to hurt. To Bad because almost all the snow was gone. Oh well got to see my Habs blow it. But I knew they would.

I Know Why. 2 words European Wimps Young Price has nothing to do with this crap, when you have nobody protecting you except Komeserek. Oh yea Danenault and Kostysyn gets hit and they are nowhere to be found. We all seen what Kovelev is made of. Streit where was he. Higgins, Kostolopolus, Komerserek were the only ones that came out to play. I hope they get traded to a Western Team here, because Id be ashamed to play for the HABS. MONTREAL CANADIANS what a Joke
-
No its not the Golf. Over half of the team would rather go home and brag about their exploits and how much money they make. They would rather do that than risk injury, for a cup that we Canadians and Americans cherished while Growing up. Lets face it, half the players have family over- Seas. By the way, you notice how these games are looking like soccer games/ lots of acting. Yea I like Cherry too, Great Canadian and Hockey Mind, I like his Latest Point. All the Scrums that we are Experienceing Lately, His point being that if the Refs would let it go, half of the players would Sheeet themselves. Montreal is a Classic team. A bunch of wimps with visors chatting it up, instead of duking it.
-
ALL QUIET ALONG THE EASTERN FRONT. Big Bad Bruins are digging in for a Battle to eliminate the Montreal Europeans. Half the Team have dropped their Arms and are Running to the Hills. Their Leader is nowhere to be seen and no one wants to step up as they may meet certain death or injury. However there is hope as Komerserek is ready to take up the slack for the Team. Atta Boy.

Hey, that was awesome. Thanks for sending. I added to my collection of videos.

You sure P3TA didnt put that out with a few touch ups???? Sort of like their Seal Campaigns
-
Good move by the coach, Put Streit forward and use the young guy. Dont play Brisbois much on Defence and use him on the powerplay. That way the Bruins dont have free rein around the crease. Now if he can only come up with a plan for Hammer-Lick and MarKov maybe they wont own the Mtls net when Komerserek is resting. Yup, lucky win thanks to the penalty, otherwise could of been 2,2 Series. Again most of the team was hiding except maybe Begin, Kostalopolus, Higgens. Mtls got to do some rebuilding if they want to keep up with the other teams. And what about that Captain????? Where was he.
