  1. Very cool. Maybe one day it will come down in price enough that I can afford one!
  2. my dad built one as a kid. It's on the bottom of 6-mile lake somewhere. The neighbour at the cottage has one as well. runs a tricked out OMC 15 hp. The motor is heavily modified, but the guy boasts that it will run 50 - 60 mph...
  3. Great Report man! Really nice wide angle shots. Those will look nice on the wall.
  4. Great shots man! Keep the reports like this coming
  5. http://ontariofishingcommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=62597&st=0&p=694063&hl=spinner&fromsearch=1entry694063 A similar question was posts earlier this year. I'm not sure if you have ever used the search function on OFC before. It's a gold mine of info
  6. I get what your saying 100%. But If I dumped $500 bucks in to a leaf blower, I'd be using that dang thing for EVERYTHING! Get my moneys worth out of it.
  7. Like Brian said. Break wall. Follow the crowd. Best spot is right beside the "No Fishing" sign....
  8. Very nice video. Great job man! I will spread the word around these parts!
  9. That's one heck of a way to carve a pumpkin!
  10. To bad the fishing and hunting was slow for you! Still looks like you guys had a blast thought!
  11. I'm assuming this is the Little Verimillion lake in northen Ontario? That should get a few more ducks on the move, heading my way! Thanks for posting the pictures. I alway enjoy this time of year. A few more weeks and Drifter will be doing some ice riding!
  12. At one point we must have had 40 birds all hit the water at the same time within 80 yards of the blind. It was total mayhem. Going again this weekend. Usually the migration lasts a week or tow at our blind.
  13. I just googled "propane tank wood stove" and there are some interesting ideas out there. Looks like it would work pretty good. If you do decide to make one, be sure to post up the results You might want to PM Skipper D. He has a nack for that sort of stuff
  14. Nice suprise for sure eh! Thanks for posting the pics. I wonder how big they get in Erie?
  15. I feel like doing the same thing with my weed eater. Likely just needs a carb tune up...But I like your idea beter!
  16. Thanks Solo. 5 weeks and he can push himself up! He's doing great No kidding. They sound like little fighter jets
  17. Thanks! But I have to be honest with you. I haven't made it out skeet shooting this year. It took 75 shells to drop those 12 birds...
  18. Welcome aboard. There was a good post a while back from a guy named "Letsgofishing". Everyone got together and made a nice list of items one should take with them on a back packing canoe trip in to the bush. That should get you started. Here's the link. http://ontariofishingcommunity.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=62655&st=120&p=698534&hl=algonquin&fromsearch=1entry698534
  19. My weekend started out with me granting my wife her one and only thanksgiving long weekend “wish”. She wanted 5 hours “Baby-free”. So from 6:30 till 11:30, I got to spend some good 1 on 1 time with the boy. See what happens when the wife lets me dress him! Some tummy time. He’s determined! This is 7 years in a row I have gone duck hunting on Thanksgiving morning. 2 Years we’ve been at the new blind, and we’ve limited out 2 years in a row! This year was a fantastic shoot. We literally had a ringneck fly between me and my hunting partner, he was 4’ away from me. His wing almost touched my face. Just to make this a bit of a fishing report. I hit Orr lake for an hour on Saturday evening, and got the old SKUNK… Had a nice little visit from GBW as well. Nice to put a face to the name! Hopefully you managed to wet a line some time on the weekend Geoff!
  20. I don'y have any nice expensive combos! So if my boat was sinking, I'd be twirling those wing nuts on the 9.9 trying to save something worth a few bucks
  21. Great shot! Sure wish the colours in my bush looked like that. All the leaves this year just died and fell to the ground. No really nice colours.
  22. I guess you can give up on sleeping the next few nights!! Counting jumping muskeys What a monster Ben. Congrats on the spread.
  23. Who's the kid with the net? Nice shots!
