  1. Beer belly. ?
  2. Brutal. Sorry to hear. ?
  3. Best BBQs are Weber, Neapolian and Broil King. The rest are pretty much all made in Asia and don't last long and work poorly after a few years. Personally, my next BBQ will be a Weber charcoal grill for under $200. Can't beat charcoal for flavour. Takes longer but worth it.
  4. Looks like about a football field length of Skis. Well done.
  5. You are hooked now The journey to 50 inches begins ?
  6. Gallie. Thanks for a very useful report. Ya, those productive days might be gone. Hope not.
  7. Not paying big bucks on steak. And have the occasional tough one. Trying to perfect the perfect burger. Fresh ground beef. Salt and pepper and chopped onions mixed in. Make a 1/3 lb hand made patty. Dress it up on a nice bun with bacon, Old cheddar. Guacamole. Slice of onion. Tomato and lettuce. Whatever turns your crank. Cost less than half of steak. Always tender.
  8. Keep some sand handy.
  9. Looks like a wicked forest fire back there
  10. Amazing.
  11. Checked all the wires. All solidly connected. The tuner doesn't search. Not even a bit of static when volume turned up with tuner on. I suspect it's a problem in the unit itself. ?
  12. It's like a car radio. It has an antenna and it seems to be hooked up
  13. Have a typical built in Sony Marine Radio for music/ news. Came with the boat. Turns on and everything but no sound with the radio setting. Nothing. No matter how much I crank the volume. Couple years now. When I plug in the iPod into the aux port I get great sound. I'd like to fix that. Any idea what I should do? Thanks. Peter
  14. Ya but I mean when they are real young
  15. Different kinds of doodles. Different mixes. High energy dogs. Can be big Non shedding. Most folks love em
  16. Very nice. Always amazes me how the chicks survive predation. The adults can fly and roost in trees. But the young?
  17. This site might be a little quirky some times but that will always be the case when you gather a group of people together. I think the mods do a good job shutting down the crap when it arises. I've learned a lot on this site and have had tons of questions/problems resolved. Fishing techniques Boat/motor issues ATV advice Lawn mower repair -thanks again Cliff Wheel barrow tire failure Cottage problems Firewood questions Now if I can just get some solid marital advice I'd be good. ?
  18. Crap. So now I have to buy another toy?
  19. I noticed when I hook the Gulp worm nose thru the first hook and body the second, if it's perfectly straight there is little action/spin. If I bend the worm it spins nicely. Is this preferred? Would make sense to me.
  20. Gotta live the dream, Cliff. Don't know which option is best but makes sense to me to keep your home. Rent it out for a year. Buy a unit used. Fairly new. Be patient. A great deal will present itself. The rent covers all costs Give it a whirl. If it's not for you, you can do plan B. But at least you tried. Livin the Dream. You don't want regrets.
  21. Update. Started with a bucktail. Caught 2 18 inch sistas in 2 hrs For the last 2 hrs of the evening trolled a harness with a 6 inch Gulp worm. 3 under slot eyes and 3 panfish. Not bad for a first effort. Gotta increase the size though. Water temps 77. Lots of boat traffic
  22. Finally back on the lake. Gonna give the new worm harnesses a go. The word from the neighbours is the walleye bite on North Pigeon is still off. Need a feed of eyes Will keep you posted.
  23. Ya but Lew. When do we get to see yours? ?
  24. Was going to add. No fleas on lines but lots of nasty biting flies in the boat. Wear long pants and socks Bring a flyswatter
