That turtle looks hungry for human flesh. I hooked a hugo turtle in Georgian Bay years ago. Got it near within 20ft of shore where it stopped my retrieve and started hissing. At one point, it sank over the edge of a drop off and snapped my line. Probably close to 2ft. across the back. Glad it didn't get any closer.

I guess ark builders are in demand right now in Port Dover. Whose collecting the animals? The awesome power of nature.

I have a bunch of things to do, otherwise, I'd be on the water.

I had my basement plugged in a few spots from the inside and also dug out and patched from the outside about 2 years ago. One section started leaking a bit, but the rest seem fine. I can give you a name and number if you're interested.

I was always under the impression that 4 strokes could troll down to a crawl. If the idle can't be adjusted, you can try dragging buckets to slow the boat.

Good for you. Keep it up. You'll feel better without that crap. I've never been a coffee drinker or a smoker. I'm not a big cola or chocolate fan either. Guess I'm just naturally high. At least that's the story I'm sticking with. I don't even drink much alcohol, except for visits to and from friends or family........ and the odd swill with my OFC buds.

Just got home from work. Thanks for all the replies. I'd rather not say who my current insurance provider is. At least not yet. I'll give a few of these a try.

I know none of them can be considered reasonable, but there should be a few that don't scam you as bad.

Getting a new vehicle. I called my insurance company and got quotes on 3 different vehicles. All 3 were in the same price range (within $50 of each other). I ended up choosing one of these 3 vehicles. Called my insurance company to add the vehicle to the policy and get confirmation so I can pick up the new wheels. Now the price is $500 more and conviniently, they don't have any of the quotes on file. To top it off, they're cancelling my home insurance too. (giving me a month to find a new company) The home insurance cancellation is what really bothers me. Reason they gave was that I do some work from home and they won't insure the business I do. (working on the computer and using a fax machine) Enough is enough. If anyone has a line on decent insurance rates, I need help fast. Live in Mississauga, ON. Supposed to pick up the new vehicle tomorrow (Thurs. night), or I may try and stall a bit to get insurance somewhere else. I still can't believe these pinheads.

I may get some goose and duck hunting done. Still haven't got my deer, but I understand you actually have to go hunting to get one. Just haven't had time. I guess the odds of hitting one with the truck are pretty slim ? Most of my very limited spare time will be spent doing things around the house.
