  1. Excellent outing, even if the fishing was slow. The quality makes up for the lack of quantity.
  2. Cool to see palm trees on a Canadian beach. I didn't think they could last through our winters. What happens when they get too big to pull out of the ground? Start over?
  3. Looks like both the walleye and pike are feeding well. Congrats on the productive outing.
  4. We usually start arriving around 7-7:30pm. Should be lots of places in the area to get a room for a night or two. I know TJ stayed at a place nearby. Ask for some info. It could be the same hotel Gerrit is talking about. That's the reason Friday is better for the big show. Most people aren't working the next day and long distance travellers can relax and enjoy the evening, rather than leave early to get home or not come at all. Hope to see you there.
  5. You should be able to get into walleye after dark in most places around Quinte. Don't give up too easily if the bite isn't on right away. Keep at it. If your line isn't in the water, you'll never get a fish to strike the bait.
  6. So, the tank is retired for the season, but the soldiers march on. Good to see you still at it. Keep marching dude.
  7. Well hurry up and get out fishing. We're waiting.
  8. Ready to rumble. Boat is stored in the garage, so tarps, etc. are not an issue. I'm hoping to get down to Quinte once more before ice up. Maybe this Sunday. I've fished walleye on Georgian Bay in December on days when we had a hard time getting out to the fishing spots because of the thickness of the ice near shore. Ya, I'm a little crazy.
  9. Temps are definitely too warm for ice, but yes, one can dream. It'll be here in no time.
  10. Always nice to meet OFNers. Beauty catch too.
  11. Excellent pics RSB. You and your bro have hot hands for Quinte walleye.
  12. Good shooting guys. Very nice colours on those fish.
  13. Remind me not to dangle my toes in the stream on my next European trip. WOW !!!
  14. Sounds like an awesome day dspite the camera problems. Congrats.
  15. Ahh, glad to see you finally came to your senses and joined the leaf nation Dan. Good one Mistyriver1.
  16. Those are some chuncky white bass. Congrats on the walleye too.
  17. A fabulous fishing story. What a great read. I've always wanted to do some tarpon fishing after seeing the silver kings in action on T.V. One of these days.........
  18. Cool. Always a good day when you're on the water, but when fish like that make it to the boat, the day just gets better.
  19. Welcome to our OFC family Tallboy.
