  3. Should be able to do it, maybe try a search with keywords rather than scrolling back, just recently there have been threads brought back to life on Iceland and another on an outpost camp from 2007 and 2008, suggesting it can be done.
  4. With any luck it will end up like zucchini , when they start producing you have a hard time even giving them away
  5. The whole problem with the evolution theory and letting natural selection take its course is in a pedestrian / vehicle incident the law favours the pedestrian, no matter how suicidal their actions are and you end up getting charged, not unlike rear ending another vehicle.
  6. They are a menace everywhere, stepping off curbs against the light, wandering through parking lots oblivious to cars and other traffic and the worst are those that run a shopping cart into your heel in the stores , yeow that hurts. http://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/province-says-toronto-can-ban-texting-while-walking/ar-BBunsEI?li=AAggv0m
  7. Try any of them without your gov't issued permission slip. edit: actually for most of my life I could boat and fish without any stupid license.
  8. licensed and regulated does not, at least to me, mean it is legal. It is still illegal and you pay for an exemption to the law, not unlike the medical situation today expanded to those who meet certain criteria and can pay.
  9. I had a patio 12 x 32 done last year, my contractor also said it wasn't necessary and if you do be prepared to redo it every few years, I opted not to.
  10. Would not the legalization get it out of the basement into proper greenhouses and gardens ? just saying as the need for undetectable growing sites would no longer exist.
  11. Officer Punjabi just called from Canada Revenue Agency, there is a serious problem with my recent tax return LOL

  12. The same thing happened with our firearms legislaion, very few members of the shooting fraternity and sports were consulted, same types were consulted plus women's groups , what the hell have they got to do with shooting

  22. I recall seeing a few specimens way back when I took Dendrology in an arboretum setting where they would have had winter protection. Pretty sure the Niagara Parks Commission has a few in the greenhouse at the falls.

  24. Friday's humour reminded me of this one on economics It is the month of August; a resort town sits next to the shores of a lake. It is raining, and the little town looks totally deserted. It is tough times, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives on credit. Suddenly, a rich tourist comes to town. He enters the only hotel, lays a 100 dollar bill on the reception counter, and goes to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one. The hotel proprietor takes the 100 dollar bill and runs to pay his debt to the butcher. The Butcher takes the 100 dollar bill and runs to pay his debt to the pig raiser. The pig raiser takes the 100 dollar bill and runs to pay his debt to the supplier of his feed and fuel. The supplier of feed and fuel takes the 100 dollar bill and runs to pay his debt to the town’s prostitute that, in these hard times, gave her “services” on credit. The hooker runs to the hotel, and pays off her debt with the 100 dollar bill to the hotel proprietor to pay for the rooms that she rented when she brought her clients there. The hotel proprietor then lays the 100 dollar bill back on the counter so that the rich tourist will not suspect anything. At that moment, the rich tourist comes down after inspecting the rooms, and takes his 100 dollar bill, after saying he did not like any of the rooms, and leaves town. No one earned anything. However, the whole town is now without debt, and looks to the future with a lot of optimism.
