On a refurb it could be the refurbisher installed 10 on the C: drive and the the Recovery partition could still be the original factory restore version of Windows.

Would it not be possible to use that to take a PC back to factory state and the originally installed version of Windows if some one had a problem with 10? Not so strange as some of the herons are somewhat nocturnal. Quite common to hear the Bittern calling at night and foraging, believe the Back Crowned Night Heron is also nocturnal judging from its name. Did the location border on some marsh or swampy area?

Instead of one of the android boxes, just install Kodi on your PC, laptop , tablet or I even have it on my phone, then you can use a hdmi cable to your TV or if you have a smart TV or a miracast capable device attached to the TV , then wirelessly cast or project it to the TV for better viewing. Anyone have a good cheap VPN they want to recommend?

Think you are safe Cliff, the free upgrade did not extend to Vista users, only Windows 7 and 8. Seriously though, we have 2 new PC's a tablet and laptop running 10 with no problems and an old 7 laptop, plus another laptop and a desktop that we did the free upgrade on with no problems.
