What I think most don't get all this merchantdise will be at another show next week. The retailers just restock move to next location. Now maybe if you go to the very last show they attended this year there would be some emergency to reduse stock..

I was at the Redwing Tackle booth all day. Talked to a lot of people. Everybody seem to be havinga good time.

These TV shows do a masterful job at flashing senery shots to disguise were they were fishing. Seen ice fishing one last year that must have flashed 20 different areas of Bay of Quinte. Big for me is who makes the money on this epiosode. The host can tell all the great things that will happen for you. Money talks, they are being paid by many sources and the faster they get footage the more they make. Most of these host could fined there own fish, maybe take 3-4 days, you come in but a show in the can in 4 hrs. you deserve cash.

Tournament world is small. Almost everybody knows somebody that has fished your tournament. Make sure people see your results know your organization. Are you involving charitys. Make sure your web site is update regular.

Signage, flyers, community support............ that lumps you in with everybody good for 10 bags of worms. Is it live release. Do you have a release boat. What are your growth prospects. And the big one how many views will your radio spots have. Will there be T.V. how many views. How much product will be sold from this sponcership. What sportsman shows will you attend how many people. Lot's of bass tournament series have went 10-15 years and never land a big sponcer.

And lets face it. If you hand your CC to some drop out at the gas station and let them run in to prossess your purchase. You deserve.

Wife left my CC at CT returning old battery. Was back in 20 minutes to retrieve. Was a little Mmmm when it was pulled out of a draw with about 10 others. 4 charges for Itunes with in a short period of time. Up until then I would not answer 800 #'s. I do now.

Spinnerbaits... Closed or Open Eye?? Your preference??
Garnet replied to TJQ's topic in General Discussion
Have you throwen a spinnerbait or any bait. Add 1 dead spot and you defeat the rest. -
So why are they paying twice
-
In the news report 15 firefighters stood around well a few did the rescue. Should victums pay for firefighter training.

You could be missing a huge amount of fish. Just the blade change speed or stopping is a fish and likely a giant. Both pike and smallies can hit so light just blows your mind. I can tie a knots almost as quick as your snap and have way better feel. -

The r bend came about for manufacturing large quanitys of repeatable spinnerbaits. All the twisted close eye spinnerbaits need to be hand tune. Shrink tubing works good on the R bend. I tie direct for a little better feel. -
The 5th Wheel Bowmnaville fills by volume.

Think I'm the only person to still have 3.8-1 Curado. Started throwiing swimbaits at OBF in Candlewood CT. I was struggling with 5-1 ratio being just to fast. Slowly I removed line 20 to 25 ft at a time. At 120 ft of 20lb braid off my 5-1 Curado 200 I hit the majic spot no more concetrating just wind at my speed. Yes the 3:8's were at home The 3:8's are perfect for this stlye of swimbaits. Apparently 3:8 gears are available from Shimano.

50 lb braid is the way to go. If you are using a minnow. Run the jig in the tube, tie the braid to the eye and a red treble hook. Now the stinger is never the correct length so you can wrap the braid around the hook until the correct length for the size of minnows. Braid has no memory so it doesn't affect the minnow. If running a strait tube I preferr a spinner bait trailer hook left loose.

You can take a piece of paper and close the to door on it. If it falls thru thats bad, it should be fairly tight. When you find the bad areas you can adjust your hinges or roll down windows or open windows put your foot at bottom of door and bend that area of the door frame. Remember these aren't Caddy's. It could be the door rubber is just flat.

I have 2 of these in my scrap pile. I replaced it with a mechanical adjustable one from BPS. Think it has 5-6 different heights. Worked fine for few years.
-
Yes take to garage in spring and hit it with 30 -45 amp charge for 15-20 minutes then charge normal. It likely is fine just needs a shock. Lawn tractor battery's almost always need a shock if you drain to low.

2 things about specter braids they all float and all have no memory. So the dreaded line twist side casting not issue. And if you hit a cold stretch you can role your line on to a box top. Just cut a couple "V" and label it, re install just about the same time your mono needs to be replaced or it warms up. Line that floats is huge advantage.

Fishermen are generally not open to suggestion. They think I've fished/built rods for 45 years I can't learn anything. The smart ones will pickup a rod that has sat for years and do the little test. I talk to 2 this morning down at the river, both very impressed. They no in steelheading it will help you punch that float out a few ft. So don't try it you might learn something.

I force my gimpy knees and back up the stairs. They do have elevator.

Ah Kemper is that what your mommy told you, must have been asleep in chemistry class. A fishing rod is just molecules. They rate rods 45 mod 80,85. The faster you get those molecules going the more sensitive your stick. Just take 10 minutes and learn something.
