  1. Think I would recover that piece my self. That center section is most likely Velcro in. Take apart carefully find matching color. Trace pattern and re install.
  2. Beetle spin = walleye, walleye = beetle spin. 2 oz spinnerbait = musky
  3. $25 to replace a guide. Go some were else. Local to me $5.
  4. You want wallys........ fish in the channel and get your bait near the bottom. Think I would go with beetle spin 1/4 and maybe 3/8. Troll slow doing s turns.
  5. My wife thinks shopping is Olympic sport.
  6. Your boat is set for trolling so troll. #3 Black Fury dew worm optional, Beadle Spin, cranks. When you find the wallys then drift area.
  7. My guess would be 175 - 225 every year for 35 years. I do fish for every species except musky.
  8. 90 % of the dog walkers have their little bags and pick up after their dogs, 10 % don't seem to care. You never hear about banning dogs. This story happens every year. Access to fishing is a huge concern for me. Making fishing harder is just playing into the anti's had.
  9. I run Seafoam. My boat is high use and still every month I run the tank as low as possible. Then fill up with nice fresh gas add a can of Seafoam. You continually fill up your tank the gas gets old and carb/injector build up becomes a problem.
  10. Keep something behind you tree, bush, weeds. Lot's of times be 30-40 ft from creek. If you don't make them aware a great cast isn't necessary.
  11. I was high tech. 1x3 and a c clamp
  12. It's not summer. It's fall you missed it.
  13. The best thing is 2 people 1 in the boat 1 backing up. Even before the wife could back up the trailer I would position the boat undo the winch strap and the wife would back up 2-3 ft. I assume this ramp is so steep that undoing the strap is hard and then the boat shoots of the trailer. The worst thing is tying a rope to the boat and letting it shoot of the trailer. Seen several wives get pulled into the water. Most are those ramps with quick drop right at that critical time. Have also seen straps and ropes break from boats shooting off trailers.
  14. My buddy Drew Schiller is the Clearflow North license well contractor/ plumber. Just looked at his card looks like everything wells. 1 877 987 7222. Card says Kawartha Lakes an Haliburtan I would still give him a call.
  15. You will need to trade in. Low km will likely cost a few K
  16. You should try Spider Thread it has no wax coatings so it's handling characteristics remain coincident and far less wind knots. Snap casters always have more problems with braid. Couple things might help you, stop the line with your finger and close bail with hand and give the line a pull before reeling. Sounds complicated but will be routine quickly. Or stop snap casting.
  17. They are a bose relay any parts store and willing to bet CT has them Ford and Chrysler daelers Yes you can switch the relays around, both need to be plugged in to work.
  18. When I worked in a battery plant for 12 years it was often said if battery's were invented today they would never be legalized because of there explosive nature.
  19. I carry my white buckets in my 20ft fully loaded bass boat. Most of my friends have the same fully rigged bass boats with white buckets. We all learned the same thing, you repeatably use your live well for crappie perch and it stinks real bad. I find this whole subject disgusting.
  20. Do not charge deep cycle battery's on 2 amp you will never get it fully charged. They like to be charged immediately and 10amp minimum. And smart chargers intended for deep cycle battery's.
  21. Does it work on High bypass.
  22. Love the Foghat album. Except you are old to remember.
  23. Take the strap of lead off marker buoy and bend small hook and tie to other rod. Now put hook on inside lip, point the fish down and let it go. Hits bottom just shake off. I never had much success with slow fighting. Go the other way and release quickly with the torpedo always worked better for me.
  24. I would fish jerkbait, tube, dropshot, crankbait. And poppers if they go.
  25. Any day Fishing is better than any days work.
