My fishfinder has an hour meter and it has over 500hrs on it. My motor would be about 75hrs a year. I am doing about 225hrs a year of soft water fishing.

And every year the docks and ropes get moved a little further out into the lake.

Ya but it is still stupid.

I have been thinking about putting in an extra pump so i have two. Maybe i will.

Sat at the camp for hours waiting for us return. After all there effort you should have let them ticket you for something.

I have been waiting for this day for a long time. Garry2rs you are wrong. "They don't help you cast!" A good reel will help you cast because the line will lay better on the spool.

One other problem is your boat is hanging out passed the back of the trailer. I like to have the trailer supporting the boat right under the transom.

The hydrofoil and the piece of wood make me think buddy was doing something funny with that boat. You dont need either. I see he drilled the holes to bolt the motor on with the wood in there. How nice. Does it have some wood in the transom or is it all aluminium? Nice boat and motor. I hope you get it sorted out.

I am trolling down the lake going west and I can see a bass boat coming from a mile away. I stay my course the whole time and this ass cuts right in front of me and puts his trolling motor down. He is about 30 yards ahead and right on my trolling line. I get up from the wheel and go to the back of the boat and i aint changing course. He puts his trolling motor on high and moves 30yards farther so i aint going to ram him. You didnt end up on the spot you stopped on anyway and you should have went behind me. We were the only two boats on the lake. So stay the hell off my lake.

You need a short(15") shaft motor. Measure the motor from where it sits on the transom to the top of the cavitation plate (the flat part above the prop) If it is close to 15" then it is a short shaft. If it is close to 20" it is a long shaft. For the boat measure from the top of the transom to the bottom of the boat.
